"Lady Henristone, please raze this manor to the ground. Make sure everyone inside is burned to death; use the flammable cannon rounds, just to be sure. No one from the inside will leave this place alive."

The demon ambassador was silent for a few moments as she pondered on her situation. However, all of them knew that in that room, the Human Saint was the most powerful person present, for this was her world. Besides, it's not like Lady Gratianni was given options—she was there only to be told of what was about to happen to some of her people.

"That's stupid, Lady Seirna. My Kuro isn't like that; he's so fixated on keeping himself a 'virgin' until we get married. Even when I push myself on him. So, really…I'm doubting on your words that my appearance came from the most beautiful girl to exist in this world, and of the other realms!"

"So, how's the Lord Greg?" Lady Noir asked. I don't know, but the moment my name was mentioned, I instinctively hid myself on one of the nearby pillars around the bath. It seemed that she didn't know I was bathing; fortunately, the steam helped me conceal my presence.

"Rosita," I heard my pilot giving commands to her. I saw that he was looking at a small, glowing orb to his right; my guess was, that was his flight instrument. I could see nothing on the display, but hearing him utter some numbers made me think that way. "Turn 30 degrees to your right. Readings show 80kph winds blowing southwest. Fly to the height of 500 feet to avoid turbulence."

"Seriously?" Nevertheless, Ruro followed Seirna's advice and prepared to fight.

She put her index finger on her lips, asking me to stay silent. I don't know why she did that; we're alone in this vast, empty expanse of golden-yellow grass and rolling hills. Then, the lady grabbed my arms and put those around her waist, gesturing to me that I tightened my hold. Well, I guess this was no time to get awkward and embarrassed; one bad fall, and I could paralyzed myself. So I did what she suggested, and off we go to the borders of the Chersea-Cherflammen.

When I regained my senses a few minutes later, Lady Noir stood in front of me, with a fiery sword on her hands. Before her was Her Holiness the Human Saint, still wrapped in a dark, sinister aura. Though her lips were smiling, her eyes looked as if she was dead, with all the glimmer lost. She hovered above the demon girl, who seemed to be cornered.

"Oh, where did you get your confidence? Mind if you give me some?" she had a mocking look on her face. However, she turned serious moments later, "No, sir, I mean…if ever you get married, would you like to have a teenage daughter?"

"I just cast a mind spell on you," Maddie's sadness vanished; another beautiful, happy smile appeared on her lips once more, though her eyes…something's weird and scary about them. "From now on, I'll always know what's going on your thoughts, so that I can keep you away from that man."

After that, everything faded into white. The moment I opened my eyes, I was back in my room at the Holy Palatial Gardens, with a paintbrush in hand.
