This queen forgets that to be queen you need a group of people to rule over. If there's no kingdom, there's no ruler. She wants to wage a war but, not protect her people and not sacrifice anything to try to win the fight she picked. That's not just selfish, that's some serious cowardice.

She did love her people, but she was also selfish and didn't want to sacrifice herself for the development of the celestial race.

I love that she recognizes the balance between allowing Shinian to develop and also protecting her 3 y/o child. Yes, he's brilliant but, still so young.
