I was going fairly well with Taijutsu, but you could tell that it wasn't my strongest point, I mastered the basic movements and attacks but that was it I didn't really experiment with taijutsu as much as I did with Shurikenjutsu, you could tell I wouldn't become a Taijutsu based ninja.

Even if it was for hidden leaf Itachi was a cruel bastard who thought he alone can do anything. He not just killed all of his clansman he also made Sasuke's life worse than hell. And all in the name of peace. If you put it like that Danzo and Itachi are not much different ,one for peace and other for the leaf.
