Its a rough translation but has tons of potential...however there are TONS of plot holes or problems with CONSISTENCY. for example he unlocks 2 of the 6 ability "sequences", then somehow he is able to still use some of the ability "sequences" he hasn't unlocked yet and somehow the story then makes it so this ability sequence that wasn't unlocked is able to be used and absolutely "neccesary" to unlock more sequences and increase the power of the slime? why? i do love it but the consistency is trash. best to treat the part where it says he needs to unlock ability "sequences" in the future aside from ones gained through the evolution "sequence" that was supposed to be one of the initial possible sequences to possess as dust and blow it away to make the true gem of the story's potential shine. if you can't do that then this story isn't for you. i do think it is interesting with tons of future potential though. the character background was average but not many important characters have been revealed yet so i'll just give it 5 star for character design for free. but the background is a bit interesting with the world design. although the background does seem a bit forced with unrealistic concepts that wouldn't be accepted in any "real" world with or without the added concepts of magic and monsters. like why is everyone forced to try to adapt to symbiotes when the potion to prevent extreme backlash is apparently super costly? will all parents be willing to have their child risk major backlash from lack of compatibility with possible deaths even if most cannot afford the potion to prevent backlash? with how serious the backlash sounds and how it seems like compatibility is super rare considering that there are so many different types of compatibility that are practically endless and somehow MC has less than 50% compatibility for like EVERY one of the how many thousands of types of compatibility and 50% apparently is huge backlash how are people going to "Randomly choose a compatible symbiote with no way of knowing whether there is any compatibility that is high enough for less of or no backlash" when the odds of finding one that happens to have compatibility over 50% is so rare? if this gaping plot hole that makes this world so unrealistic could be fixed it would be a lot better. don't get me wrong, i love the story but only because i'm ignoring the inconsistencies and plot holes. the potential is top notch but author wasn't able to make it shine with his inconsistencies as if he is creating each chapter at a time and not taking any of the previous chapters and giving them too much thought to realize he is contradicting himself.
