A valid concern. Though i must say, how many people really stay the same as they were all throughout their lives? People change over time, thats called gaining experience and growing up, and a person is never done growing up despite what they might tell you. In other words, Its okay to change a little bit, even if it is scary sometimes. I think what they really want is to not lose their previous experiences as they have helped define who they are today.

I honestly don't know if the memories of this life will come back, but I don't see if they will be important or not. What I don't want is to disappear and become someone else.

I never thought I would work in a tavern, I still remember the jobs I did. Some of them were organizing candy to sell to my classmates, family and friends and also helping the family to sell food.

Ill be honest, as much as i might want to, it would be quite the pain having to adjust to such differences.

Youre making a lot of assumptions there. for one, depending on what the soul is defined as, it might not care about its bessel at all. and two, souls dont have genders, as the only definitions i know that exist are those that refer to the body itself and the social constructed views of gender.

I am still not happy to refer to myself as a woman.

Every time i read things like this i cant help but be thankful for the (relatively) kind and nice neighborhoods ive grown up in.

I can say that for someone to help you like that just because of a situation they have to be a very kind person, I always remember how people ignore things that could bring danger to themselves.
