"You shouldn't fear him," Raylen reassured her. "He is a rat who hides in the shadows. And, if it makes you feel any better, your soul is mine. No one else can stake a claim on it—not God, not the Devil. No one. Just me," he stated, before letting her hair down. Instead of using the comb to detangle her hair, he used his fingers. He gently wove them through her hair as if she were a glass doll, starting from her scalp before moving to the length of her hair.

"The centre," Raylen replied, only to witness Emily turning flustered at his words. The woman was seducing him looking like that, he thought.

"When you put it that way, it only makes me want to do just that," and she couldn't help but notice the wicked smile on his lips.

He stood up and made his way to where the woman stood. He whispered, "The colour of jealousy doesn't suit you, Beatrice."

Raylen ran his tongue across his teeth, almost as if savouring the memory of the blood he had tasted moments ago. He then hummed and said, "Just because there isn't enough cake doesn't mean I am going to choose porridge," and a chuckle escaped his lips.

"I won't be the one to tell him," Beatrice replied and added, "but if he discovers that you are messing with his sister, he won't let it slide. She's going to marry and leave one day."

"I didn't actually kill them. I merely allowed them to experience the rush of how it feels to explode." Raylen's lips twisted in thought before he added, "I trapped them within the kingdom, temporarily sealing their abilities to prevent them from communicating or breaking the barrier, which would have allowed demons to apparate here without warning."

"She does, but in her own twisted ways," Vincent rubbed his jaw, "By having me married to a vampiress of status rather than a human, who comes from a lower background. Somewhere I was worried about this. She's un-fixable and worse is only yet to come."

When the witch came near her, Marceline grabbed the witch's neck and harshly pushed her against the nearby tree's trunk. The vampiress pulled the dagger from her cloak and placed the pointed edge above where the witch's heart was beating. She threatened, "Throw another wooden stake and I will sever your head from your body. Don't think just because I don't have my fangs, I am harmless."

'I will look after them as my own,' she promised before leaving the corridor.

Christy nodded but immediately shook her head, "Now, Doctor Cheska may not have time. I passed through her office when she had prepared to wash the glass. It seems that she is giving hypnosis treatment to a patient. And her door was closing."

"Oh, I remember it. It has its language!" Christy shouted aloud and looked at Irish, "You belong to me! That is the language of this kind of flower!"

"From Ken's dream, it's easy for us to see that he is yearning for but afraid of the parent body. He dreamed of a passage and a horrible black house full of thorns. The content of this dream is dark but contradictory. After searching, I found that before he was born, his mother was thinking of abortion. Most adults don't know that it is possible for a fetus to have the memory of this, albeit subconscious. It's too subtle to explain or prove with science. But in fact, this memory does exist.

But the warmth she received was more than she had asked for, for it wasn't just the blanket that wrapped around her body but also Raylen's arm that encircled her waist from behind.
