One thing that I really like bout this book is how there’s a clear difference between Ara and Ali. With a lot of other reincarnation novels, there’s this notcieable differences in the personalities and behaviors of the reincarnator and the original body’s soul, so it was this situation where the reincarnator would act like themselves in their new body. But here, while Ali reincarnated into Ara’s body, the personality and behaviors shown are more of a mix with Ara and Ali, which I found very nice because it’s as if Ara is Ali and Ali is Ara rather than Ara is Ali, or Ali is Ara- it”s not simply one or the other.

Since when have women done that? Are you talking about fancy dinner parties and royalty/nobility? Because I can’t think of a situation where women- common, regular people- would use 23 untensils and 3 napkins and a crystal wine glass when offered good food. I would know; I’m a woman, and I have female friends as well as female family members and many more female acquaintances, and let me tell you this, when we see good food, we go for it and we eat it without having to use 23 utensils, 3 napkins and a crystal wine glass. At most, a spoon, a fork, a knife, and a napkin. But doesn’t everyone else use these utensils when eating as well?

Where to start... So. This novel is incredible and let me tell you the reasons as to why that is. First off, the main character. He is OP but his character isn’t written in a deplorable or cringy matter. Rather his development is well thought out and it’s pretty neat. We then have the side characters, and while they don’t have as much screentime as Seong Jin-woo or some of the other side characters, they all have their own unique quirks which makes reading them even more enjoyble. Then we have the world-building and plot development. The setting goes around the entire world (Earth, mainly US and China, S. Korea, Japan), but it always goes back to South Korea. While this may seem obvious for some, I have read other novels where the setting always seems to be someplace new, and that caused some trouble for me as a reader because there would a reference to someplace 100 chapters ago that I had no recollection of. The plot is amazing. By plot I mean the novel’s content and story not the writing quality or anything of that matter. The beginning with Seong Jin-Woo having a game-like display helping him become stronger isn’t a new plot device, but that was fine. And as the story progressed, I became enraptured by the fight scenes, the interactions between the characters, and SJW’s personality. Because I read this novel after reading the manhwa, the beginning part of the novel wasn’t as eye-catching as the parts I hadn’t seen in the manwha, yet they were still pretty enthralling. Up to a certain point in the novel things were going in ways that I expected, albeit with more deaths than I had foreseen. But then plot twist after plot twist and things just blew my expectations through the roof, and it. Was. Splendid. There were also a colection of short-stories at the end which was magnificent, but then the novel ended in a way that made me crave more 🥲 *sigh*. So all in all, this novel is a definite worth-while read, and I am so glad that the manhwa is out.

This is a fantastic story. Wonderful plot, hilaroous characters, plot twists, world building, it's all there! The interactions between the characters are very nice, but my favorite part of this novel is the world jt has. The author's take on legends and myths and some other popular and famour tropes is written in a unique way that has you enjoy reading the novel.

I'm reading comments on NA people referencing floors as both [ground-1st-2nd-etc] and [ground/1st- 2nd- 3rd- etc], and it honestly depends on wgere you were raised, where you live and such. I've personally seen it both ways, but having the note does help as my mind immediately goes to [ground = 1st].
