The aircraft carrier could be considered a moving city on its own. It could hold 4,000 men and currently not one of them were non-essential personnel. Under the direct orders of the current president Elizabeth McCord, they had gathered the best of the surviving navy seals from the naval base of South Carolina and the remaining crew in San Diego. It had taken two weeks to select its personnel and to fill the supplies.

Mount Atreum, heart of the Atreum empire that bears its name, rises tall and imposing from the shimmering waters of the Lake before us. From the waterline up, the great and glorious Silver City covers the slopes. And I do mean covers. There isn't a single square inch that hasn't been developed, all enfolded within six rings of mighty walls. That's not to say there aren't any green spaces, oh no, there are frustratingly luscious and attractive-looking parks all over the damn place! The rest of it is large, well organised buildings connected by clean, wide streets. All of it, ALL of it (not the trees, obviously) is covered in what I'm told is Soul Silver.

Suddenly, the thousands of mad people cheered at the top of their lungs when Hafiz and the old man accompanied by a few pale men walked up the makeshift stage in front of the hotel. Hafiz raised his hand and all of the thousands of mad people turned quiet, he then declared, "The judgment day has already come. We are the people left behind, the chosen people," he then looked at Adam and the survivors, "our merciful god has given you people a chance to repent. This is your last chance. You need to prove ourselves to our lord. You need to choose sides."

How the heck these things get away with defying gravity to the extent they do, I have no idea, but apparently it's a thing that is rather common on this level of the Dungeon. As we've sailed around, I've seen dozens of them. Some monster-infested, some not, almost all of them streaming an endless supply of water running off their edge.
