Why did he become super subservient to a person he just met all of a sudden? Last chapter he wanted to be as free as possible, only to then become a crony?!? Why is he offering her eternal servitude for a service that any of the hundreds of deities in the dungeon city (not to mention those outside the city) would love to do as he already had an ability at lv0? Not to mention he's wording it as if Hecate gave him his new power when it was the system. Sorry to be rude but that makes zero sense to me... Unless its all lip service? Like, I understand wanting to help and protect and respecting the person who helped you achieve a superpower; but as someone who can gain power from fictional characters (op characters, gods, demons, eldritch abominations, etc [maybe even gaining other systems?]) and who is stated to covet self-freedom, why did he debase himself by kneeling and groveling while doing a 180 personality switch and becoming super subservient to a person he just met mere minutes ago, who he knows nothing about her?
