Outstanding timing! We're heading into that arc now.

The Spear. I have held the Axe and the Spear, and let their Systems supplement my own. No supplant is to replace; I mean that I have let each of them augment my System, to make it better.

When the world seems like a game, you'd be amazed how that affects morality. "I stabbed that [Censored] plenty of times. He never DIED on me before!" - Predator 2

Ah, I see the paragraph now. Morrigan is one of a triform mother goddess, Celtic or Irish, possibly early Breton. She is said to have both Ravens and Crows as servants, and probably about half a dozen other animals besides. If I remember properly, she is war and vengeance and love, all at the same time.

I may go into detail in an appendix, but the Raven was a title of Morrigan, one of a trinity of god-forms that... you know what? God stuff. People can and have written books on this. Morrigan was the mother form of a maiden-mother-crone triplet, three goddesses as one, except when they weren't. Heroines in her service were Ravens, the heroes Crows.

The world's greatest heroes are summoned from all over multiple worlds, with multiple histories, mythologies, cultures, and religions. I think Baba Yaga is Russian/Slavic, part female version of the boogey-man, part sorceress, part witch, part demoness, and part spirit queen. I think, there's probably more there that I'm forgetting.

If it's the paragraph I'm finding, then no. Flash Step is the teleportation to striking range. Fleet of Foot is just fast running.

Being shorter of leg and lower of Might, it wasn't easy for me, either. I burned up both charges of Sprint, and considered buying a third between the forest and the great hall.

In our historical world, yes. I suppose I could have detailed what dyes were rarer than others, and should have, but that's more worldbuilding than I thought my readers would appreciate.

Madonna and Dimmihammas in scarlet, Kismet in pink with a white cloak, and Gamilla in purple and navy blue – they cut a memorable trio. Narces, for his part, looked like a ranger had just stepped free of a romance novel, and was out hunting his errant true love.

I was unaware of this axe technique, but yes, it sounds doable.

As I may have mentioned, it is a more aggressive weapon. It is prone to strikes rather than parries, and though you can thrust with some axes, most are meant to be swung in arcs. Long, slow, powerful arcs. Which makes them easy to block with a shield.

I probably did; wrote this a while ago, let me check.

Not always. When it would be less than a quarter of an XP, his System can't make up the difference, even with the secret bits of energy it "steals" in order to remain operational.

So, no, I wasn't expecting anything out of the Agoge; why would I? I had twelve classes across eight different categories. Yes, you can add twelve and get twenty four, my divisor at the time. Things that gave people twelve or less XP gave me none, and I didn't get up to my second XP until 36 for a mundane person, pursuing a single class.

Skelios is that exact same guy.

"No, they'd have castrated him for that. Stealing food. Claims it was Skelios' idea. Has Skelios said anything like that to you?"

In this case, that is a typo. Thank you for pointing it out, I'll correct it.
