first off thanks for another fantastic chapter and looking forward to seeing where you take it, the second thing is about the power storage system you mentioned in this chapter, it's triggered a memory of mine about fallout 4 and that there is a good chance of UP77 being in the capital wasteland, here is note's that I have taken about this project "Prototype UP77 " Limitless Potential" it may have great results in providing power systems and cooling systems, because it maybe has a Limitless energy storage system if not differently a Far superior solution then what's seen in fallout universe, and its only overlooked in fallout 4 because it can't make power.". anyway I hope that will help you if you wish to use it as for the story I hope you have enjoyed making it just as much as I have reading it.
