I'd say it more follows Yuji and his family rather than just Yuji alone and I'm not totally sure how I'd have Yujiro react just yet because you know how that man is. The only real issue I'm having with this story is I set up Jack and Yuji fighting and Jack doesn't give up so trying to figure out how far to take it is boggling me.

it dies change up but my problem is I don't want to make the other characters not hold up to their original versions and changing up the story too much would cause it to be completely different which is something I don't want.

I never watched the anime so I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to but in the Manga Outer Moka was actually her mother but with her memories wiped. She was both sweet and nice but also had a cold side that I'm using for Eli.

I won't lie I was confused at first but I also didn't realize you were reading that one. I messed up a lot of times in it and made things not make any sense unintentionally so I rewrote the story under Monsters Among Vampires

I thought that it was because Akasha was actually the Outer Moka? I read the Manga a long time ago and I'm currently re-reading while also using the wiki and it days that and that she was sweet and nice but also had a cold and serious side, which I was using for Eli as Moka has a sweet personality.
