Author Here. --- This story isn't the most unique or have the best writing on this app-site. But I can admit that I tried, and that I try to put out the best quality that I can. --- I want to talk about the story itself, of course no spoilers. The first chapter is a long one. At least it was for me. The first draft was 1,856 words. The second-draft went to 2,000 words. After constant editing, it has well-exceeded 5000+ words. But I guess that it was a crucial step in building the world and characters around Yuujin (MC). --- The second thing I want to confront. This story is not focused solely on the Main Character. From reading many stories on this platform, I realize that most story tend to focus heavily on the main character. When writing this, I envisioned a novel where the story-plot can work without the main character actually being in the chapter or serving as a support character during certain 'characters' chapters or even arcs. It's also a chance to build the world they're living in. I went through the history of this world, being a blend from reality and fiction, it was easier on me than I thought. I started from the 70s, re-wrote some things, created characters crucial to the story today, and went as far as creating small towns, big cities, a money system, power system, their allies, and their government. There will be a-lot of foreshadowing they won't make sense until (way) further into the story. But I do feel proud in the work that I put into my characters and world. --- Lastly, I want to mention that I won't be producing as many chapters as... let's say 7-10 chapters a week. Simply put, I'm built like that. Not only do I want to focus on the actual story and to produce the best quality possible. There's the fact that I am both a procrastinator and not that fast of a writer. JKSManga for example. He's a fast writer, and can produce multiple chapters for multiple stories in a week. That's insane. I know that I won't be releasing chapters with 5000+ words often, but I will try to stay consistent with the word count and quality. --- I would also like to mention that I am not confident on my writing. I'm still searching for my writing style, and I want to focus on the story being a easy read, while also allowing everyone to immerse themselves into the story. I have read an incredible amount of books, but I'm not sure if any of that will translate to my novel. Hopefully, I can improve as a writer throughout this series. If you read this entire review.
