it's a Japanese thing. it had to do with the way their language is structured, making it easier to speak like that

I really hope there isn't alot of these extremely obvious foreshadowing statements. they always seem to ruin the story immersion for me

But they had no idea that the ancient ruins they were inside now were one of a kind they had never seen before and how it was going to change all of their lives for the better or for, the worse.
