l don't get what you are talking about the protagonist is reacting like the previous person to her him suddenly acting differently all of a sudden would be more strange. Relationships don't have to be too fast paced to appear organic unless you are looking for a one night stand. And I don't even like romance in the first place. He said he was just using her which is why I am on board.
