sounds like a life version of a harpy!! since normally harpies torture souls in the underworld, this one has life powers instead of death powers!!

just so you know, the Harry Potter franchise trade marked most of the words they made up. so since you published this and you're making money off of it, if Warner Bros ever catches wind of this, they would sue you for using "dementors" without their permission. i looked it up after seeing someone use the word "muggle" and apparently Warner Bros can be quite sue happy about Harry Potter lingo. maybe change it to "Grimm reaper type thing"?
