Maya marveled at the way Ava's presence illuminated her own existence. The spark between them was undeniable, an electric current that charged the air whenever they were together. It was as if their invisible hearts had finally found each other, creating a gravitational force that drew them closer.

I like the term 'Urban Jungle' it's a nice touch

Little did Maya know that this meeting with Ava would mark the beginning of a journey—a journey that would navigate the complexities of love, identity, and the power of two invisible hearts intertwined in the urban jungle.

Already extremely impressed with your ability to explain things, wow

With focused determination, Maya entered a bustling café nestled amidst the chaos of the city. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped her senses as she stood in line, waiting her turn. The place hummed with activity—people engaged in conversations, others tapping away on laptops, and baristas skillfully crafting intricate latte art.

This may not be a popular opinion, but the way you introduce places and leave them open to interpretation is really nice, leaves a lot to imagine for the reader.

After taking a moment to admire the unique architecture, Alex climbed back into the carriage. Excitement bubbled within him as he eagerly anticipated the adventures that awaited him in Lotardale.

Alex is the fire one, right? With his knowledge of Sparks and everything?

Olana's eyes gleamed as she explained, "The four heroes appeared from the four corners of the continent, each possessing control over one of the four elements: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. While the exact details are unknown, according to the sacred texts of the Church, these heroes united humanity and, with the aid of mages and soldiers, built the walls and forts that now protect us from the teras."

We will watch your growth with joy!

Alex hurriedly responded, "No, it's nothing like that. I just feel like I'm not as strong or smart as the others. I don't know anything besides writing, reading, and casting sparks..."

A very important part of all zombie media is knowing why it happened, and how it works before even writing down the storyline. It is defined, and will be slowly explained as the book continues. Near the end, I will blatantly come out and say it.

I was only judging the stereotype based on what I saw. They weren't aggressive, but what was that man doing staring at the army? Was he planning to fight them? Did he just want to talk? Was he trapped in his own body, unable to communicate?

Never doubt Charlie Weiss!

"I don't like this one bit... everybody, pack a suitcase, we're going somewhere else," Dad said, pushing past everybody to go back to his room.

Yes, felt inspired since I started to play it recently.

"Come on, everybody in this country knows what's going on. This is the zombie apocalypse. This is what we all have been waiting for, right? All those kids who survived those rounds in zombies are jumping at the bit to get some action, but they don't know how terrible it really is. Some of those soldiers probably played those stupid games," Niko said to Dad.

Had to give it some credit.

"That's right, what do you plan to do for break? I was thinking we should start another survival world in Minecraft. We could play it until our sick break is up and see if we can beat it," I proposed the idea to Cody.

Yes, that's where it first started.

On our way out, toward the buses that would take us home for the day, Cody and I slowly walked out of the building, saying goodbye to all of our favorite teachers for our '2-week break to slow the spread'.

Geez, I really appreciate the honest feedback. It's really hard to get nowadays. I've responded to your reply in full below this, but it contains slight spoilers of the future of his morality. I really do hope you give this story another chance, but my future ones will sincerely consider your suggestion. If you don't read the spoiler below, thank you so much for taking the time to give me an honest suggestion. ***Light Spoilers*** I hate to say it, but I really messed up in this chapter. This conversation was a tough one to write out, because I genuinely did want Sky to consider Tavian's point of view... and only consider it. Here on out, you'll see that Sky's one family, the people he woke up with on the beach, are the only people who matter. That cast is added upon, but Sky doesn't care about 'extras' as we refer to them. This conversation will be rewritten to be more concise and clear, but I really do appreciate your feedback. It means more than the world to me, and I hope to see you back soon.
