I absolutely do expect people to do so, since it's literally the most important thing in the world. It would be a nearly trivial amount of money to employ people to do so. View More

Sir_Char: So you might not have been paying attention to the fact that the world in-game is 10x bigger than the real world. The Lianzhou basin alone is the size of Romania, which is 238,397 sq km (92,046 sq mi). Do you expect people who spawn in the capital of let's say Germany, to go to Romania and spend every day going through every inch to find a town somewhere? If you think that they know the general area of where he is, they don't, they only know that he's in the basin, not if he's in the North, South, East, West, or Center.

Gregorius: It was mentioned in an earlier chapter that Garralosh had become so powerful it had earned a name through the system, which would imply that it got its name after humans started delving in the dungeons, which in turn means it's far younger.

Mistborn: Seems like Garralosh didn’t make the cut to be admitted into the elite club. Either the humans of the time didn’t know about it or it’s slightly younger than them hence didn’t make an appearance at that time

Arunavazael: No no no you guys are wrong. The priest is "always" useful.
1. He is the one that lead refuges to The Colony to seek shelter and protection hence many refuges would have temporary lodging waiting until the 'Wave' end. His action indirectly saves plenty of people.
2. His action of number 1, spark to the peace coexistence of Human and The Colony and makes the woman named Enid become the first ambassador between human and monster.
3. His preaching about The Great One a.k.a Anthony to the refuges that newly arrived established a kind of information and lessen the friction ( if any ) between the refuges and the colony and made the human grateful to their Savior ( The Colony ). The fact that Monster are looked down and hated this was huge achievement.
4. He was very knowledgeable about the system as stated in chapter before and it's proofed in this chapter and next chapter that his knowledge is useful for the colony.
And in the future I predict that he would be more useful.

Sinfish: Technically, the tier 4 croc he just slew, the immortal garralosh type would have been the 2nd or 3rd most powerful core he had seen to date, so it's really kind of mysterious he didn't consider whether or not it might be the source of the oppressive feeling.

Sinfish: In chapter 97 he spends 20 minutes nibbling on a condensed biomass ball and gains 8+1 biomass in the process before commenting he's in too much of a rush to consume the rest of the biomass in it. Which is kind of dubious since 8 per 20 minutes is 24/hr, which is 576/day, which is more biomass than he's consumed in the entire story.

There's really no reason he shouldn't have consumed that biomass then, or this biomass now.

Sinfish: In this case, you have 1) ants are notoriously weak in their tier, and crocs are clearly near the top in their tier and 2) Anthony has a spectacularly bad hybrid build, which would make him weaker than any focused build, and 3) They are outnumbered something like 500:1 in their typical fights recently, which is especially meaningful in that Tiny's something like a 80:20 offense:defense front-line melee build, meaning he's specifically weak to being outnumbered because his defense is so terrible and he has literally zero healing ability along with terrible defense and poor hp.

Sinfish: He's fighting brand-new triple evolution crocs he's never faced before. There is zero guarantee he or his minions won't be one-shot by some esoteric skill. What's more, the boss could literally join the fight at any time. It's difficult to imagine a worst time to try out a new weapon; the truly sensible thing would have been to try it out before they reached this expanse.

DaoistMasterJohn: Somehow everything feels out of scale here.
Let me explain why:

When Anthony was a small and weak ant he followed a big croc around and was amazed at how big it was, how it could 1 hit everything and even ignored biomass. Furthermore they can spew fire, so they probably had to condense a core to utilise mana, which they gained through an evolution. He estimated it to have evolved many, many times, rightly so. Because such mass can't gained with just a single evolution.

And now you tell me, the new and improved double croc is just a tier 3 monster, whearas Tiny and Anthony are tier 4 monsters?

I doubt that those crocs used special cores, or even reinvorced their own core to begin with. So how are such low tier mobs so strong and such difficulties for Anthony and Tiny?

Anthony reinforced his own core, even over the limit with special cores. The same for Tiny. If they are tier 4 monster, then they should be able to mop the floor with every normal tier 5 monster without any problems.

And here they "struggle" with tier 2 and tier 3 monsters?

Sorry for my semi rant, but this power/evolution/tier/strength scaling is out of proportion in favor to the enemies... probably just "to have interesting fighting scenes" :'(
Or it wasn't put too much thought into it.
Or I am overlooking something.

TheEverchanging: Very nice 👍
I don’t see what people don’t like about the new spell... isn’t it better to test crowd control spells like that now instead of in a boss fight? Better to try all the new things out now and be sure of your weapons.

SickBlad: Your wrong on the spell, he tried using water for the spear symbol and the water element refused, I’m assuming the cannon symbol for gravity would be a pull/push beam force like his gravity mandibles just a beam and not single target.

Faruel: sadly the author fell into the trap of "new things are shiny" I know he wants to show off what the mc can now do but in this situation where he is being charged at by large enemies the black hole of doom is the obvious answer. these utility spells while "cool" are a pointless waste of a limited resource.

Sinfish: Given that it failed to instantaneously kill the mega-croc, i wonder why he has even bothered compared to creating a normal gravity sphere he's been one-shotting creatures above his weight class with - literally nothing has managed to withstand it so far. Even if it fails, the obvious progression would be to try it with compressed mana, which should presumably be even more powerful.
