In chapter 2 when he made the plan to sell grass for mana stones to buy more seeds, I wanted to slap some sense into the dude. Grow your grass, let it seed, now you don't need to buy seeds from the system and have a sustainable farming model. The sister's attempt to "make up" for the swap is to let the FL marry the dude that's madly in love with the sister. Like, he's so in love he'll go psycho and kill the FL if it gives him a little chance to marry the sister. And that is what killed her in her first life in the end. (Well, that and the stupid grandma who constantly sacrifices everyone but the fake daughter.) Right at the beginning of the story, the landslide was caused by the psycho that's upset the FL's return caused him to lose an engagement with the sister. The fake sister's mother never got punished either, she's still trolling around the marquis' place. That chaps my hide. Just because the fake sister is mentally justifying herself by saying she's stepping back and giving everything back to the FL, doesn't mean that's what's really happening. She's just justifying what she truly wants anyway, that Kang dude. She doesn't want the psycho ex, she's unloading him onto the FL to clear the way for her twu wuv. What we actually see is the fake sister constantly trying to manipulate everyone around her to get what she wants. There's also a scene where her golden luck is eating eldest sister's normal person luck, which would make a disaster for that eldest sister. I'm not sure if the fake daughter is aware of it or not, there are a few clues that the fake daughter might be a transmigrator and fully aware of the luck she eats, but I'm still too early in the story to know for sure.

And while the Maester might not know any real magic, he should have information that I otherwise wouldn't have access to.
