Hanuman ain't the Mokey general, he's quite possibly the monkey king, his stories were spread to cchina after being spread in india, and also according to Indian folklore he's immortal and traveled toward nepal and china after departing India, and he was the strongest of the monkey-humans. The general and king of the vanaras are different people and are also mentioned in folklore.

The characters are all really bland, specially the mc, I think you tried to take some inspiration from anime characters as you mentioned anime quite a lot of times in the novel, but your characters don't have or show a lot of emotion and come off as shallow and you can't really connect with them. The worldbuilding or magic system is not very good so far either. Just some constructive criticism for points to work on Author, it's pretty good for a first novel, you just need to make some more efforts.
