Not the same. Those people were still alive during their time in PHH. They lived their lives until their natural death. They probably had families and built a legacy. Now, they will fade away without any of that, their story cut short by the singularity.

It is stated in the game that people who die in a singularity also die in proper history when the singularity is over. They just die from other reasons to make it fit to the narrative of proper human history. For example, someone killed by a servant in a singularity might die by an accident, famine or disease in PHH. Yes, those people are dead for good.

As of chapter one the fic is looking great. It has a nice pace and there's no useless exposition. It looks like the author knows how to apply the "show, don't tell" rule. Also, the grammar is looking good, not at all like the majority of fics on this site.Overall, it has great potential. Only thing left to see is the update speed. I'd love to see a daily update, but considering the lenght of the prologue that seems unreasonable. I'll just hope this doesn't get dropped in two chapters.

Eh, who cares about four eyes. Nice chapter though, this is good stuff. Haven't read a higurashi fic on this site ever and this one looks great. Is Haruki ever going to participate in Umineko's events or will this fic only be limited to higurashi? I mean, we already saw him becoming a Sorcerer, so maybe he gets there at some point.

A/N: Without me realizing it, this chapter got stretched to 3.7k+ words. Do tell me if you found the content too boring or weird(but remember to keep your standards to the levels suitable for fan fictions). I feel like I might have gone overboard with the MC's interaction with the teacher and then the teacher's POV later in the chapter. I just went into a sort of trance while writing it and ended up making up a lot of bullshit on the spot. I think I might be on to something here. (Probably an upcoming lemon scene with a hot teacher, but we'll see how things progress.) If you thought it was too sudden or bizarre or just felt unnatural as hell, do let me know. I'll try to fix it/edit it out.
