This is the same as his other novels which translate to English as "From writer to superstar" and "Superstar producer". All of them have some sort of system as well.
Years ago I like to read this modern type chinese MC like IRAS and others, but now I usually stay away from modern chinese novel genre, most of them have heavy nationalism at certain point of story. I fed up with that so I usually read alternate earth or just less to no nationalism stories.
Last update was August 2019. Then no news fron author. Don't waste your time if the author is going to drop this novel. And why translator didn't check the update stability before choose to translating this novel??

Masochist MC that has horrible parents, the only reason for any person to not fight back against this bull**** is that Chinese authors mindset of family=good, they can **** you over and over again but "they know better" so MC doesn't do anything. This is so ****ed up, I hope his mother dies a horrible death

I started to read this novel hoping to enjoy it but to my greatest surprise it was a let down its so boring I would rather read another book than this book
~~~~~READ BUT BEWARE OF~~~~~ Nice novel so far ( around chapter 45 ) but i see a pattern at the moment from chapter 30 to 45ish is basically the same chapter just in another order. 1. Mc is streaming 2. 20ish comments from people watching stream 3. Mc walks 500 miles at evening or morning 4. 1 or 2 sidecharacter background info sentences 5. 1 or 2 story progress sentences This novel is written in a great way but will be a pain to your stone collection later on. At the moment i dont see myself reading it when it gets premium and i need to "pay" 12 stones for one chapter were basically is no content but some random "comments" from some none important people of the imaginery stream.
Hey, ever wonder what its like to see the MC be a fatty despairing for a girlfriend? Well you’ve come to the right book. This fatty realized his desires upon death and was gifted with a chance to go after them. No more shy guy, as this fatty uses the system given to work towards such a goal. From fat to flat, from starving artist to leonardo de vinci. Come watch this journey with an old man, for with the tasks this system gives will have you both rolling and thankful you are not him. Kudos on the translation to get across the great humor, and maintaining stable updates. The pace of the story isn’t the fastest, nor exactly slow either. Its just right to flesh out the accompanying characters alongside the MC. Perhaps the only tank in ratings would be world building as things are very centralized at this point in the story. Definitely a more modern setting comedy story based around slice of life, so no harsh critique from the world building perspective here.
So far this novel has a great start, the system is definitely interesting and a fresh take on such things and the MC is a pretty decent guy and being an artist is a definitely change from the usual MC. If it keeps or exceeds this quality in the future I definitely give it top ratings for being worth reading start to finish.

Really good, just wish the MC didn't let the women in his life push him around. He really needs to learn to say no. His whole family women are trashy people.
I can't say much but this story is my top two favourites in qidian the other being scholar tech. There are of course plenty of other good novels our here but this story is not over the top, very cute and joyful. We read to feel joy right? Whilst face slapping may look cool, over the top over powered characters are just too 2 dimensional. Whereas characters like meng fan are just more real and relatable to.
This is actually awesome if i could id love to trade places with the main character the story seems promissing and the premisse as well i just hope it keeps getting better
Sigh~ it's a good urban novel and I'm looking forward to its new chapters. I hope the author will start updating, I'm craving for the development of this novel.

I love the story but the way his family members treat him I can't accept I can't keep reading it I did like the first 100 Chapters the mom pissed me off.
