However the other side wasn't the only one surprised, even her disciple, Xia Qingyue was surprised by this.
"Fairy Chu surely must be teasing me. Is there even a need to ask me if I want to repair my profound veins?" Meng turned his whole body towards her and asked with a faint smile while looking straight into her eyes.
"Here you go!" She took some kind of pill out of her spatial ring and lightly threw it at Meng.
'Vista, is this harmful for my body?' Meng caught the pill and thought while looking at it, making it seem as if he was overwhelmed.
[I can't identify the pill immediately but there is no harmful substance inside it, the host can go ahead and eat it.]
*gulp* Meng gulped down his saliva while looking at the pill before he threw it into his mouth.
He closed his eyes and felt like something inside him was beginning to connect, he finally started feeling the profound energy inside him much clearly.
"...With this, there are no ties between us any longer." Seeing that process was finished, Chu Yueli said.
'I can finally cultivate within this world's laws.' Meng thought and all kinds of ideas that he previously couldn't try once again returned to him. Maybe it was nothing for Chu Yueli to repair his profound veins but for him who had only old man Xia as a connection, it was graceful move.

Maybe to Fairy Chu, what she has done was just a way to repay me however I have never asked for anything before and the same applies to Fairy Chu after giving me that pill. After that, Chu Yueli disappeared together with her disciple and Meng. She took Meng to the gate of the city, however, she most likely took him with her because of Xiao Kuangyun.
"Thank you for your help, I will be leaving now. Have a fruitful time cultivating so you can become even stronger, Fairy Chu, miss Xia." Meng bowed to them before leaving the city through the city gate.
"Master..." Xia Qingyue muttered while they were watching Meng's back as his lower part of the coat and his low ponytail were gracefully dancing in the wind.
"There was no harm in doing this..." Chu Yueli immediately replied before taking her eyes off Meng's back.
'But that smile...' However, her disciple was concerned about something completely different.

Meng returned to his house and stored all kind of useful things into his inventory before he engraved into one of the walls that he is fine, in case his parents would really come back which was very unrealistic but there was no harm in doing so.

"Haha, although I am still first stage, the density of my profound energy rivals that of the second or third stage of Elementary Profound Realm." Meng laughed and stood up before throwing a light punch without increasing his weight.

However, another reason was the presence of much stronger profound beasts.
Meng couldn't help but be excited about how many skill points he can farm here but he also had another goal...the peak of the mountain, the highest place he could currently find and he needed it urgently to perform one of his experiments.
