Sinopse

After curing Earl Miller’s youngest son of a severe illness, the mysterious transmigrator, Wang Lun, doesn’t receive the promised 100 gold coins for his reward. On the contrary, he is conferred the title of Baron and receives Yale City—a city abandoned after all of its resources were exploited, and has now become a gathering place for refugees.
Fortunately, Wang Lun owns a system that allows him to transmigrate freely between 21st century Earth and another world that resembles the era of the west during the early Cold War.
He develops the city using resources from Earth—cheap and affordable items such as ceramics and glass cups are regarded as treasures and sell for a considerable amount of gold coins. He builds an army and supplies the soldiers with more advanced weapons. He brings over unusual seeds for farmers to plant and merchants to trade, allowing them to earn a fortune. He becomes a trustworthy city lord in this process, while also fulfilling his former dream of being a business owner.
Due to the city’s thriving growth, others covet his success. Thus, wars erupt, threatening the peace of Yale City. How will Wang Lun go about being the savior of Yale City with his knowledge and resources as a transmigrator from Earth?

Yeah, I mean...... Yes? No? This novel is really a fifty fifty. Kingdom building novel where the mc has the ability to teleport to one world to the other. Like the sypnosis said the mc will be given the city without having to pay tribute. So that means he is independant basically. So MC uses modern items to trade for money and uses that to build his own city for now. In the 40 chapters he already fought several wars, albeit lackluster explained it really shows mc's retardness. I mean, how the f*ck? This guy really thinks that if he equiped (only about 1 month?) trained soldiers with advanced weapons like crossbows and better quality swords and catapults he can defeat someone's seasoned soldiers with number advantage? Oh guess what? Of course he won! Like he got confidence defeating unorgansized bandits he think he can win against well trained armies? Just because he has better equipment? What, even his soldiers can adapt into modern formations? (In one month and even less). And there's no explanation how he even got his weapons from the modern world, no interaction with the modern world at all! Oh, forgot to say he's a huge f*cking hypocrite, or you could say the author is one cuz in this world there exist demi-humans. So mc accepts refugees and there are demi-humans mixed in with them. Well, he says he will give them equal rights but no, the demi-humans apparantly got less than normal humans. Wow, you change your damn mind faster than I beat my meat! Translation - 5* (Smooth like the hands in my freezer~) SoU - 5* (trial reads, always 5 stars) Story development - 3* (I don;t know how to explain this, read it yourself) Character design - 1* (Overconfident mc with retarded thinking) World background - 3* (demi-humans and medieval technology/era) Overall score 3.4

I’m not sure how this is so highly rated (4.4) at the time of writing this review. Readers’ standards just keep going down and down I guess. This novel is written by an author with the maximum level of ignorance possible. It makes for a laughable reading experience. The irony of it all is quite great. Good luck to those who take the plunge despite my advice not to.

Petition to bring back World's Best Martial Artist and a couple of others.................................................................................................................. Don't blame me for low rating, they will either not pick this novel at all or drop it midway anyway.

The sheer impracticality and stupidity of the MC is bordering wishy washy naive thoughts. The story isn't good and too fast paced with cardboard characters. The story has no flow at all it's just jumps around from one thing to the next to force push the plot and make the pacing more fast. Not recommended for those interested in well thought out stories.

I had hoped for more, I like city/kingdom building novels in general and it is my favorite genre to read. I have read the first 10 chapters, it is kind of... bland... it just doesnt catch my attention. I might force myself to read the free chapters, and I rly hope it gets better. My biggest disappointment is the fact that his trip to the real world was not described. He just goes and comes back with a bunch of stuff... no talk about how he acquired them or anything. I mean let's be real... how will you get shotguns in China? it's not like he whipped them out of his arse. Same with swords and bows & arrows. No talk about how he acquired anything really... I would have really liked to see his trip as he meets the people that he does and sells them some stuff. (trip as in before he cured the kid and got scammed) When he came to the city. He didn't personally do much... or it was not described. He would just hand the papers to someone else to handle... I get that it is realistic since I would delegate work like that too if I was in the same situation... but at least tell us the path of him researching how to make a proper water wheel or something. Like a paragraph or two was enough. The chapters are short and there are some inconsistencies when it comes to either translation or maybe the author just doesnt know what he is writing. I will probably read the free chapters and update my review based on that... but for now I have read 25% of what I can read and I'm not impressed. Especially if I have to pay or use free-passes to read the rest.

I've been known to ignore plot holes, as long as the other factors are good enough, but even I cannot stretch disbelief this far. The details are so lacking I feel giving the world background one star is giving it too much credit.

Honestly, I was looking forward to reading this novel and it greatly disappointed me. You're thrown right into the book without any introduction or build up. Theres practice no logic. like how did he end up meeting the Duke? how does he buy weapons and arms from earth? (no description or story of the actual earth) MC is really concieted and quite stupid. if you want something that has actual sense and world devotion read empress gigglo (Mc has the power to transfer between world and uses it to improve that worlds civilisation)

waite a minit wasent the Cold war after WWII so how is this world similar to that tis is more like the Middle Ages form Europe than the cold War era. I think the author needs to correct that.

oooh boy, this is poorly written with Ok translation. If you want something brainless to pass time this will work. If you are looking for a proper city builder skip this story. There is little reason or logic to much of what occurs. All the characters including MC are very flat and 2D. Every simple action the MC makes gets praised as genius ....

Some people may like it but most of people especially old readers will hate it especially if they read other kingdom building novel. I suggest if you don't want to lose your brain cell then don't read it. other world has 0 background. IDK how the **** MC buy sword crossbow and guns in morden era? There are 0 info or interaction with other world 🌎 Also how the fk a army which one trained less than 1 month beat a well trained army? MC/Author logic advance equipment I say BS. we all know Advance equipment only provide little advantage. But not that much to win especially in that era Mc is hypocrite. I hope this trash don't pick up because it will dropped within few months. Reading this novel is like reading a sammary. Background is suck.

It's actually funny to see that complete trash has better ratings than this average story. Let's try to give real reviews? No. Let's cry about certain tag or petition shit. Ok. Let's start with review. This story is actually average story about transmigration. This time, MC can come back to his previous world in any moment. It's not masterpiece or something but if you don't have anything to read. Story is fine. There are some unique parts about this novel. It gives off feel typical Japanese light novel though. I am not really sure if its source of webcomics. I will check later. Translation quality(5/5 - I read fast so, I might automatically skip minor mistakes.) Stability of updates(5/5 - This part is pointless for trial read.) Story development(Solid 3/5 - It isn't brilliant or something.) Character design/development(2/5 - Some characters are 1 dimensional) World background(2/5 - Author put some thoughts into those cities. It's still more work than 90% of modern novels in trial read. Copy, Paste, Done.) At least try first 19 chapters or so, don't be retard and rate 1 without reading.

A good story about world development despite the plot being over done in many novels on this site. Too bad the author took a break, but it's worthy reading.
