Capítulo 1: Prologue/New Beginning
Hi, my name is Ashtal Eldritch and I'm currently 27 years old, well 27 years old and dying.
Straight to the point I know, I was trying to close a growing 'Rift' that opened because of all the corruption in the surrounding.
After my experiment succeeded, which resulted in a small reddish-pink glowing orb that I called 'Causality Collapser' and me probably loosing my mind, if me wanting to try it out first thing was any indication.
Well ..... and that is basically how I ended up dying.
The 'Causality Collapser' worked how it was intended, though I severely underestimated the aftereffects.
Even-though I had protective equipment, the resulting explosion leveled everything in a hundred meter radius around the 'Rift' , tearing through my protections and critically injuring me.

The last thing I saw, was a fist-sized orb that radiated a rainbow aura descend from where the 'Rift' closed ... and landing in my opened hand.
After coming into contact with the orb, it felt as if my body was melting.
My brain was overloaded with information about... well everything really.
It was hard to describe it as anything other than excruciatingly painful.
After the pain receded, the orb was gone from my hand, but I still felt as if it was with me.
Though that was as far as my body could support me with my injuries and I started to drift to the afterlife.

Huh, where am I, is this what the afterlife looks like.
It's dark and silent here, the perfect place for taking a nap.
And that's actually what I did I napped for what felt like an eternity.
???: "Wake up child, you've slept long enough." Boomed a voice through the emptiness
Ashtal: 'Did you look at the clock, why do you wake me so early.
Oh yeah, I'm dead and in some kind of void or abyss.'
???: "First up, you slept for nearly 800 Million years, quite the power-napper you are and you are in my domain child." The voice sounded out again, only this time in a more normal volume.
Ashtal: 'Then who are you and why did you wake me up, you surely must have a good reason.'
R.O.B: "Yeah I'm the ruling entity of this void, you humans depict us as R.O.B or Random omnipotent beings from those funny novels they write, but you can just call me Jeff." The now named 'Jeff' introduced himself.
That introduction made me mentally or is it spiritually sweatdrop, since physically I'm currently not capable of such actions, actually I don't think I'm much more than a floating soul at the moment so scratch that.
Ashtal: 'So what do you need from me?'
R.O.B: "I do not need anything from you, but you can't stay here, your good Karma is to high to stay in this place and the O.A.A ( One Above All ) would skin my nonexistent ass if I left you here."
Ashtal: 'What good Karma, the only good things I did was helping out in orphanages and working as an emergency paramedic. The supernatural was almost non existent in my world, which is also why I tried so hard to close the 'Rift', so it wouldn't be discovered.'
R.O.B: "Those already are great deeds and you closing that 'Rift', saved nearly 4.5 billion people and half the earth being turned into a tainted wasteland."
"So I'll allow you to reincarnate in a different world of your choosing with two wishes."
A bit stingy but I'm not gonna complain.
Well since he mentioned those funny Novels, I know exactly what I'm gonna take.
It was just, I really liked playing games, so.... yeah and the other on will be something every researches has problems with, resources.
Ashtal: 'Then I want to be reincarnated in the world of Highschool DxD, with the powers of the Gamer and a system to create an infinite amount of resources.
R.O.B: "Well so be it, anything else you might want to add, like background?"
Ashtal: 'Yeah, I want to be an 'orphan', parentless to be specific.
Freshly arrived in the town of Kuoh from England, living in a one family house a foots march away from Kuoh Academy.
Age of my reincarnation should be 16 years old, the same age when Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri start at Kuoh Academy.'
R.O.B: "So be it, have fun in your next great adventure."
Before I could say goodbye I felt my consciousness fade, falling back into a deep slumber, knowing when I wake, a new beginning awaits me.

The powers are semi-OP, but it's DxD so it should be ok.
A/N: Changed the one wish to two, since I couldn't find a way to implement the MC turning into a craftsman.
