Capítulo 5: Chapter 5: Growth
Inside of a vast library, a young woman could be seen walking around while a book floated in front of her, turning its pages on its own.
The woman in question wore a beautiful golden robe, while also wearing an amulet around her neck. She had emerald green eyes that shined brightly as she read through the book.
The book then closed itself as she read the final page, but when she was about to grab another book, a green glow shined from the amulet on her neck.
'It's been 5 years already. I didn't expect time to fly so fast' she lamented to herself.
Catherine had gone deep into her study of magic and the Mystic Arts, with her learning magic on an extremely high level. She learned many powerful middle-tier spells, with any one of them being able to easily take out a jonin if she were to guess its strength by the power it showed on the forest.
She had learned many of the notable powers that a user of the Mystic Arts usually knows such as chi manipulation, astral projection, tactile telekinesis, and thought casting. While she couldn't claim she was a master of any of the arts, she was proficient in using each and confident she could use them in battle. She was even able to gain access to the mana that existed inside the Eye of Agamotto and add that to her already extensive magical power.
Her magic was mainly focused on using Universal Energies instead of Dimensional ones, however, she was able to find smaller dimensions that had no owners which allowed her to utilize their energies. She preferred to use Universal energies or her personal mana due to them not having a cost, unlike dimensional energies which were only safe to use in the dimension that was unowned.
Her personal mana was one of the things that grew the most over the past 5 years. While she originally thought it was normal that her mana grew at that rate, after she learned about personal energies, she realized that her mana pool was growing at a rate that was completely unprecedented. That's not to say that she had a vast amount of mana that no one ever had before, but instead, her mana grew much faster than anyone's had on record. She could only attribute this to whatever being sent her here.
Her use of Universal Energies was probably the thing that she grew the most in as she focused on her control of it. She became capable of utilizing the energy to a high extent, where she could easily utilize it without wasting any. This was also how she learned how to create a sling ring to open portals. By manipulating the Universal Energies that exist, she could distort space to forcefully make two points connected to each other, practically given her teleportation.
She was also able to find a few uninhabited dimensions to allow her to safely use those spells. One of the few dimensions that she was able to find and draw power from was the light dimension. The dimension was made up of light energy and was extremely pure in nature, allowing her to utilize it however she saw fit. She used this dimension as a substitute to stand in for spells that drew power from more dangerous ones. She was also able to utilize a dimension that is practically a necessity to every sorcerer: The Mirror Dimension. While her's could only mimic either the hospital that she was in during her past life or the forest she was staying in currently due to her not having been to any other places, it still gave her a major boost to her power as it practically gave her reality manipulation on a small scale.
The thing she probably grew the least in would have to be her study of time. While it would be simple if Agamotto had notes on it or studied it on his own, even he was unable to find major knowledge on the subject. So while Catherine's Time Stone had grown in power, she was still unable to do anything significant with it. For now, all she can do is rewind time in a small area and see about 5 minutes into the future.
She deduced that her strength was at an extremely high level, with her guessing she could even fight a kage. She also could leave if she felt it was too dangerous by using her sling ring.
Catherine left her mindscape and reentered the real world. She stood up and began to grow excited. After living her last life completely in a hospital, and this one so far in a forest, she was ready to enjoy the outside would.
'I'm ready to experience my new world. I'm no longer stuck in a hospital bed, so I deserve to enjoy my new world completely, no matter the dangers.' she thought.
"Flight of Sylphine!" she said as she began to levitate.
She then soared in the sky, ready to experience the Shinobi World.
