the story is OK. what annoys me is that they make the game out to be fantasy/magic, but it's all cultivation. mc chooses a wizard, but he has to cultivate every day. the mc is gifted an alchemy skill which makes pills etc just like cultivation stories. they also have a straight-up cultivation class. so if you are look8ng for a video game fantasy setting, it's far from it, but it's still a Chinese cultivation story. also, how can an assassin be poor. he plays the game to make money at the start he only has a couple thousand in the bank.... I think the whole assassin thing was thrown in to force a relationship. mc saves a sexy cop at the start, then vanishes, but later, she sees him at a noodle shop and tries to go after him, but he vanishes. lol ya forced romance one thing I do like is the mc is solo and no face slapping yet but I bet it's soon.
