Chester Yale's eyes flickered, glancing at the luxury wristwatch on his hand.

The meeting began at nine o'clock, and it was almost twelve o'clock now. She had been sitting here waiting for him for nearly three hours. No wonder she was tired and fell asleep.

He waved his hand, and his executive assistant immediately bowed and left the office, courteously closing the door behind him.

Chester Yale went over and took off his jacket, gently covering her with it. The two were very close.

He could easily see her long eyelashes, and her cherry lips flushed with color.

He slowly lowered his head, about to kiss her, when Evelyn Sherman suddenly opened her eyes.

Their eyes meet, and both were stunned.

"Gurgle——"

The sound of a stomach growling was especially clear in the quiet space.

Evelyn covered her stomach with her hand, looking at Chester Yale awkwardly, her face involuntarily flushed.

She awkwardly sat up from the sofa.
