Normal text like this is the mc describing what he or others are doing, a sort of pseudo-omniscient narrator that is himself.

"We need to address the issue of the radioactive river. Perhaps I can find a way to transform it into a harmless substance, like candy juice. Additionally, we should use the mountains as a natural defense," Bonnibel suggests, marking the map of our region.
"Why are you considering warfare when we don't even have a population or any enemies?" I ask, casually spinning my pencil. "Though I must admit, the idea of having an army does sound fun," I chuckle.
"Eni, focus. We've been at this for 10 minutes and you're already getting distracted," she sighs, regaining my attention. "Ah sorry, y'know the only things that can keep my attention is fighting and cooking" I reply sheepishly.
I want to learn magic, but I'm unsure how to proceed. I'll have to wait until I come across a wizard or a magical book, like the enchiridion, although I'm not sure of its current whereabouts.
I can probably figure it out on my own if I try hard enough as many different wizard groups existed that figured it out on their own, but potentially over hundreds of years.
So no matter what I do I will only be able to perform magic in a couple hundred years, or maybe I can find a magic book from pre non-magical Earth, before modern humans took over.
"Alright, I'll concentrate," I say, sitting up straight.
We work for several hours, and I make sure to avoid important areas that shouldn't be disturbed, such as the entrance to Lumpy Space, The Apple Orchids, and The Marshmallow Patties.
But it wont be long until she finds them anyway, they are all kinda right next to us.
All of these locations are either nearby or will be in the future, and they don't require any interference.
After some time, we develop a comprehensive plan to follow for at least a hundred years. I also briefly mention Lake Szelezon, located to the south. I passed by it when I first started traveling but didn't pay much attention to it.
There's some stuff there that we might want in the future so I planted the idea of doing something there aswell.

"Ugh..." I groan as I wake up, sitting up in my bed, I hear the door open, and one of the citizens of our slowly expanding kingdom enters.
He looks like any other Candy person.
All of them have hair made of the type of sweet they are based on, and their skin is the primary color of their respective candy.
This particular individual, who serves as my butler, although I really don't need one, is a cupcake person, with hair made of white frosting covered in blue sprinkles, of course inspired by Mr Cupcake, Bonnie has her own butler, who is obviously Peppermint Butler, who was indeed one of her first creations in the show and is incredibly fucking old.
I really do sometimes forget how old he is by the time the show started. 700 whole years is actually insane.
"Good morning, Lord Enigma," he says, bowing slightly. "Lord Bubblegum is asking for your presence in her lab," he says with utmost respect. "Thank you, Sprinkle," I reply, getting up as he leaves.
I stand up and transform my shadow-made sleepwear into my usual suit, before heading out the door and begin walking through the now decently sized 'castle' or soon to be castle, its still just a building with a tree in the middle of it.
"Hey, BonBon," I greet. She now looks like she did at the end of Adventure Time, around 18 years old physically, and will remain at that age physically from now on I suppose.
She has her hair tied up in a short ponytail and is wearing a lab coat over casual clothes. "Morning, Eni. Come here," she says, gesturing to the map that covers her entire table.
The seriousness makes me raise an eyebrow.
I walk over to the table with the map of current OOO. Around 2 years ago, we roughly marked out the land of OOO, getting its general shape.
I made sure to keep Bonnie away from things she shouldn't interact with, I was the one who marked out the north so she can avoid the Ice King, I also avoided the area where I believed Marceline was hibernating, she aint supposed to wake up for a couple hundred more years.
Even though I have long derailed the plot, there are still things I can keep intact. "What's going on?" I ask, standing next to her and noticing a red circle around Lake Szelezon.
"We have a problem. I sent some of your soldiers to check out the lake you mentioned, and there's an issue there," she says, pointing at the lake on the map.
Ah, my army. I requested Candy people whom I could train to create an army for the future, and she agreed. We have a population of around 1500, and about 500 of them were made for me.
They arent stupid so they work just as well as humans, maybe even better as you can quite easily put them back together even when dismantled limb from limb, mid battle.
Although I never fought in my previous life, I have been practicing with my abilities for over 11 years and am proficient in hand-to-hand combat, as well as my entire arsenal.
And training them for being guards around our developing kingdom, and for exploration and other things too.
I didn't want a repeat of the banana guards. I have no clue why Bonnie thought it was a good idea to also make the protection to the kingdom have less IQ than a rat.
They were more stupid than ever Candy Person.
Which was the reason she made those robot guards that she later killed cus she felt like it.
Sometimes just remembering the show reminds me how much of a psycho this girl is...
Anyway!
"What's the issue with the lake?" I ask, as I wasn't there with them. Bonnie briefly informed me yesterday that she sent them and I didn't need to go since I said it was pretty safe.
It should be?

For some reason there has been an influx of readers. Are you people really that starved of Adventure Time content?
Well maybe yes, there is like one other fanfic on adventure time and it gets updated like once a year, *cough* I am the son of simon perikov *cough*.
Anyway, I'm not really happy with this chapter or the 5 or so I have sitting in stock, so I have been rewriting them, which another reason why I stopped updating a while back, you guys were commenting about something you wanted, but that kinda didnt align with what I had already written for the future, so I lost motivation near instantly, and am now writing a compromise.
Getting back into writing has been fun so far, hopefully I can keep this train rolling from now on.
