As the notification vanished, Lucien noticed something peculiar—a floating display above Gibson's and Auden's heads, bearing their names.

'Huh, strange. I didn't notice that before. Could it be the power of Omnicisient Alcazar?' Lucien mused to himself.

The sudden sound startled Lucien, causing him to jump up and scan the room, prompting concerned looks from Gibson and Auden.

"What's wrong, My Lord?" Gibson inquired, rising from his seat and scanning the surroundings.

"Did you hear that voice?" Lucien asked, still perplexed, his senses on high alert.

"What voice?" Auden questioned, joining the conversation.

"Huh? That's odd..."

The voice in Lucien's head caused him to tense momentarily before he regained his composure and returned to his seat. "So, what should I call you?"

'Alexa? Like in that AI voice?'

Beside him, Seren looked puzzled, having shifted her attention from her mobile to her brother, who seemed to be conversing with himself.

"Lucien, who are you talking to?" Seren asked, feeling worried that her brother was hallucinating and becoming crazy.

He was the only weird member of the Ashborne family anyway.

"I'm speaking to the system," Lucien offered a brief explanation.

"Ah, you don't need to say it out loud, you can just talk in your mind," Seren pointed out, her tone nonchalant.

In her eyes, her brother appeared even stranger now. Hadn't he played games or read light novels before? This situation seemed straight out of an over-the-top LN plot.

Meanwhile, Gibson and Auden exchanged confused glances, unable to comprehend the conversation. What was this "system" they were talking about?

'Hmm... Alexa, why do Gibson and Auden have those panels above their heads, but my sister doesn't?' Lucien inquired, addressing the system.

While Auden has a warrior class with swordsmanship, hunting, and construction as his skills.

He has experience with making a house and building. He also has higher attributes than his father, probably because of his skill.

'Hmm, quite interesting. It's like their CV,' Lucien remarked mentally.

'What a pain.'

Lucien could picture the scene vividly: suggesting that his parents become his subordinates would spark immediate resistance from them. They have big egos after all.

'I see, thanks for clarifying.' Lucien stroked his chin, contemplating his style of leadership and his next move.

Interrupting the moment, Gibson suggested, "My Lord, I believe that's enough for today. You must be tired. Allow me to show you to your resting quarters."

As everyone began to rise from their seats, a loud commotion erupted outside, accompanied by the sound of shattering.

Lucien has a bad feeling about this, all this commotion, it must be his parents!

'I can't let them roam freely like this. They're like a bull in a china shop, charging around without a second thought.' Lucien sighed heavily and made his way outside the house.

As Lucien stepped outside the door, he witnessed an unthinkable sight: the largest slime he had ever seen, wreaking havoc and destroying the village wall.

He could hear the screams of the villagers and the cries of children as they tried to evacuate.

The slime was blue and shaped like a glob, with eyes, a mouth, and two hands, which it used to slam into the two figures in front of it.

Yup, it was his parents.

"Father! What are you doing!" Lucien shouted, causing Cassius and Amane to halt. They then sped towards him.

"What do you mean?! You dumbass! Can you see that glob that looks like shit tried to destroy this village?!" Cassius pointed at the monster, his voice drowned out by the noise of the slime and the crumbling wall.

That wall was literally inside the monster.

"But Dad, Slimes are supposed to be small and harmless. What did you both do to make it angry?" Seren, the gamer and geek among them, knew well the nature of such monsters.

"The hell! We didn't do anything! We just... umm..." Amane hesitated, struggling to find the right words.

Lucien gripped his mother's shoulder tightly. "Mother, what did you do?" His voice was calm but carried a hint of menace that made Amane flinch.

She shrugged off his grasp. "We didn't do anything, okay? We just... Tried to save a man inside it!!!"

Lucien furrowed his brow, while Seren facepalmed. "Mom! What do you mean saving a man?! If they were already inside that giant, they should have been dead!" exclaimed Seren.

Amane began recounting the events from start to finish. After wandering around the dull village, the couple became curious about the towering wall that marked the boundary between the village and the forest.

"Bet there's some dangerous creature in there," Cassius remarked suddenly.

"I know, hubby. Why don't we check it out for fun? The kitten did say we needed to level up anyway," Amane suggested, hugging Cassius's arm as they ventured into the forest.

However, they found nothing of interest and decided to rest in the shade of a tree, voicing their boredom. "This world is so boring," Amane sighed.

"Yeah, I miss the gang wars." He said.

Amane was about to commend her husband when they heard a flapping sound approaching.

Cassius retrieved a gun from his white suit, while Amane unsheathed her katana, ready to face whatever monster was coming their way.

What emerged from the shadows was a giant glob, with a man trapped inside it. The couple exchanged a quick glance before rushing toward the clump, determined to free the person trapped within.

"Fucking hell! This giant shit is so dense!" Cassius cursed, straining to grab the man's hand.

"Hey, you! Try to wriggle a bit, damn it! We can't get you out if you stay still like that!"

Amane yelled, her hand already deep inside the slime alongside her husband's. Together, they managed to pull the man free and lay him on the ground.

"Wake up, you moron. What the hell were you doing inside that disgusting thing?" Cassius sighed, nudging the man's body with his foot.

Feeling uneasy, Amane kneeled and touched the man. "Hubby, this man is dead," she said, looking up at him.

Cassius's eyes widened in shock. He quickly summoned a barrage of guns, sensing the danger.

Amane followed suit, preparing her katana as the glob began to roar. Hands and faces emerged from the mass, twisted in anger and intent on killing them both.
