Capítulo 48: Test - Complete

The necromancer never expected the second attack to come so soon. 

The magic tool the mage used was truly great, he complained, and jumped onto his feet. 

In desperation, he cursed the attacker before using a big chunk of his mana to coalesce a defensive shield around the front of the formation. 

However, he failed to notice the slight change in the mana bolt that arrived this time.

As soon as the shield materialised, the mana bolt slammed on and exploded. The explosion sent a shockwave into the shield, breaking the outer layer. At the same time, the piercing light and lightning element turned into pure energy, burrowing into the mana shield.

The shield wasn't constructed to block the rampaging energy or the explosion. It was hastily built to block light and lightning elements. 

So, what remained of the mana bolt ricocheted between the shield the necromancer created and the shield fog formation originally had, eating away at its durability.
