I look myself in the mirror, and I see a shadow of the man I once was. When I found myself in this world, I was excited at first, which one of us haven't dreamt of an Isekai adventure? A harem and experiencing new things that we felt too trapped to experience in the previous world. I was all for it, hell since I had no yearning for the previous world, I was all the more eager to lead a more fulfilling life here.
I was admittedly a little disappointed when I found out it was not a fantasy world at first but that disappointment soon turned to excitement when I found out that it's a superhero world, I mean sure it's not DC or Marvel or even anyone I know of but still it's a superhero world you know, how cool is that?
Do you know the amazing thing? I had powers! I was strong, stronger than any cape I came across… and not just one power, I was something the people of this world classified as a grab bag cape, and to that I only thought 'as expected of me, it's only natural' When I found out how people got powers in this world was when I first realized that mine was an outlier, where capes could not spend long time without engaging in conflict, I could stay content with myself no issue, and I had no cravings nor anything weird caused by having powers. My powers had no rhyme or reason, it just was…
Then I fell out of a portal in Madison trying to save some kids, I did save them at least so I was happy even though I now found myself in a new world of a new world. The locals called it 'Earth-Bet'.
Learning about 'Earth-Bet' was not fun, it's like when I was putting criminals behind bars in what is locally called 'Earth-Aleph' the heroes of this new world were playing dress up. I didn't like anything about the situation of this world, the villains, the murderers, the S-class threats, the endbringers, one of who I later learned was responsible for my dimensional displacement, monsters on their own right, the world seemed to close down on me, and I didn't know why. 'Earth-Bet' huh? Truly these people are betting on their lives.
And then for the first time since I reincarnated, I saw a picture of Scion… and then the visions started.

Lifeisnotdaijobu Yes, Orpheus has no prior knowledge of Worm and was reincarnated in Aleph, the 'kids' he saved were the travelers so they are not present in this AU. He also can't be precoged which is how he saved the travelers but he doesn't know that.
