I don't think it's related to Chinese this time. While I understand what you're saying, I still think it is possible considering Gohan's potential. Gohan literally jumped realms of power by just getting angry, and I don't see why Goten wouldn't have the same or even better potential. the only difference is that Goten is training seriously and using 100% of his focus on training with his future knowledge and state of mind as well compared to Gohan who trained once in a century or w/e. So let's be honest, Goten could potentially achieve this under the same conditions. (but who knows XD)
