Of course, there are mentions of Sacrifices, Rituals, I believe that the Shadow that Melisandre gives birth to is a type of Blood Magic, but there is no explicit demonstration of which words are used to conjure them, so I hope you don't mind if I create my own ways to use this branch of magic, however, I will follow the same principles presented in the books, to use Blood Magic a price in lives will be paid, whether those lives are of animals or even humans for more powerful magics.
