When Thanksgiving cake around his mother and him spent it alone, while Leah didn't celebrate it she did come over for dinner, her and his mother having gotten along great with one another. He found it awkward that she celebrated with them though, not that he wasn't happy she was there, but because of the history behind the holiday, he just found it awkward.

Yeah, it’s absolutely ridiculous 😂 I stopped reading after not very long, but I’m pretty sure it time skips to like 4 generations later very quickly! 😂😂 I just included the very very basic 2 kids per person exponential growth in my post, to showcase with a real example how fast the numbers become absolutely insane, but that insanity definitely is reached multiple generations sooner when there’s more than just 2! 😂 I believe he initially has 6 concubines, w/ 2 or 3 kids each? And he essentially creates a ‘rewards program’ in his family for cultivation resources, to ensure every descendent has at least 2 kids 😂 And after 4 generations, he like announces an increase to the recommended # of children for his descendants to have up to 3 kids each 😂 At the same time, I think he also announces that he’s looking for another 6 concubines? I don’t remember exactly 😂 But he’s already at over 100 descendants after like 20-30 chaps 🤦 A couple more generations, and he’s at 10k+ 🤣 He’s at the point of no return, lol

The original text probably said “half an incense stick of time” which was improperly translated to “half…a quarter hour” (quarter hour roughly translating to “incense stick” worth of time?) Just my guess, but that seems likely. If it had just said 1 incense stick of time, it would sound normal in English, but cuz it’s half, then there’s that double half/quarter, which sounds horrendous in English 😂

😐 How can he possibly rule out him being stronger? It’s like they’re making Tier 7+ talents and Pihai+ realm cultivators appear to be super super rare, yet simultaneously not really rare in the slightest, since there are tons of them scattered around maybe a few days worth of travel distance away, at the most! 😓
After carefully observing for a while, Han Li breathed a sigh of relief when he confirmed that the man was only at the seventh level of the Rebirth Realm. With his eighth level cultivation in the Pihai Realm, unless the visitor was a Gangyuan Realm expert, it was impossible to conceal his cultivation level from Han Li.

Everyone is complaining about the name changes, which I agree in the sense that they did change a few names from the list of realms a couple chaps ago (also, I dislike the weirdly translated names)… …HOWEVER, I don’t think this paragraph is actually messed up! I’m certain that “God Refining Realm” is higher than the “Gang Yuan Realm” - there was zero mistake in this chapter! 👍 The sect leader was simply stating: should that guy successfully get rid of the shackles holding him back, he is bound to ascend multiple realms in quick succession (reaching “God Refining” easily) - cuz that’s how talented he is. But, if he can’t break those shackles, he will never surpass even the Pihai Realm. 👍 And even putting aside that logic, the last dozen or so paragraphs explicitly cite proof of this! It says word-for-word that the sect leader is in the “Hollow Void Stage”, elders are in the “God Refining Realm”, and those in the “Gang Yuan Realm” become core disciples, under elders! 🤨 I don’t get the confusion, tbh. So it obviously goes: Pihai -> Gang Yuan -> God Refining -> Hollow Void 🤷♂️

This is pretty ridiculous. Because these are exponentially increasing numbers! If each descendant sires 2 more children, then after about 10 generations, the # of descendants per generation quickly become insane! He just needs to raise his family with something akin to “Christian family values”, in order to guarantee each consecutive generation continues the tradition of producing offspring without interference. Then he can just sit back & rake in the rewards! As long as he survives the first 10 generations (at 2 kids per descendent), then the 11th generation would be 2000+ descendants! Next generation is 4000+. Then, 8,200. 16300+, 32700+, etc etc. My point is, exponential growth quickly grows out of hand! And, obviously, it won’t be a perfect 2 children per descendent, but in all honesty, by shaping their minds with a “Christian family value” mindset in regard to marriage/kids, it’d probably end up being more than 2 kids per person! 🧐 Dis dude end up overpopulating the earth 😂

Ahh, I knew this was gonna happen. I’m just curious if they are ACTUALLY going to end up finding the Scriptorium? Or, if the puzzles from the game are simply being used for a passage to the Chamber of Secrets? Then again, it wouldn’t really make much sense for entry to the Chamber of Secrets to require a 2nd person to cast Crucio on…🤔

On top was a circle with a semi-circle going around it, and on the bottom was a snake that was in a sideways eight position. Lockhart examined it and then moved over to the snake statue. "It seems that the statue is the key to the gate. Most likely, what happened earlier was a timer to match the symbols to the gate, and you were not quick enough and were, therefore, attacked. Quite simple, actually." Lockhart smirked as if one-upping Harry was some sort of accomplishment.

Oh my god! What if his search is working 100% perfectly? It’s just not leading him to the diadem because that particular soul fragment connected to the origin of the curse, is in some sort of separate space (or whatever logic, with how the RoR works), so instead he is tracking the closest soul fragment…the one from the diary! Perhaps not the diary itself, but the student/Basilisk? …presuming the soul fragment consciousness of Tom Riddle can temporarily leave the diary to control the student or Basilisk, directly? This would make so much sense why following the ‘signal’ is just leading him around in circles. He’s tracking the Basilisk’s movements, then suddenly he’s tracking the student’s location, or the location of the diary itself, and just keeps switching periodically. And because of this, he totally just found another entrance to the Chamber of Secrets! 😲 If this hidden passage isn’t another entrance to it, I can’t be certain about anything ever again! 🤣
Having had previous experience with this trail that is so goddamn annoying, I know that there is something here, even if I can't see it. Some quick and thorough inspections revealed to me a doorway hidden in the wall. A powerful Revelio pointed directly at it, resulting in the outline of the opening shining brightly in my eyes. The trail was going into there. Feeling around, I found no handle or anything. There must be a specific way to open this.

Yeah, as others have said, DADA curse is making more and more sense. There’s probably some sort of recursive loop in the spell, where if a DADA Professor is present in class without the curse, it applies the curse. So if Gilderoy keeps removing it in his mind, it’s just re-applied in class the next day, or something. If that really is the case, then perhaps destroying the curse every day will slowly reduce the power of the curse? Also, if it is the case, it begs the question: Why is this random lady the appearance of the curse? If this truly is the DADA curse at play, then perhaps it wasn’t actually placed by Voldemort, as others surmised! 🤔
Already having figured out the rules and how she worked, I quickly got rid of her again. But of course, it happened once, so most likely, it will happen again. Somehow, she had gotten in my mind again, and I didn't even really go near anywhere or interact with anything that could have done it, which verily confused me. But yeah, knowing she would somehow come back again, and if this time she was hidden better, I couldn't find her, I put a trap for her. I didn't know how it was getting into my mind, but I could only assume that if I left a weak spot and a noticeable gap for it, it would take it. This thing is not that intelligent.

Huh, so this really is Salazar Slytherin’s Scriptorium, eh? I figured there was a 50/50 chance that the puzzles to the Scriptorium from Hogwarts Legacy were simply used as the challenges to reach the Chamber of Secrets from an alternate entrance. This is definitely an interesting development, I wonder what Lockhart will find. Well, probably research notes & spells made by Slytherin. But maybe something even more interesting as well? 🤔
Lockhart, being the cautious person he was, spent a while doing various spells Harry didn't know the effect of, scanning each area of the room, spending quite a bit of time on the bust before finally deeming it safe and moving on to the upper level. Following along, Harry climbed the staircase and finally reached the top, bearing witness to what looked like a study. There were shelves all around the area, with books and papers littering nearly every surface. There was a desk where most of the papers were congregated. Everything was dusty and grey, a significant layer of dust hiding the true colours from the eye.
