the act that makes a kyber turn red is called bleeding and it literally makes the crystal bledd and turn red in colour if you bleed a kyber too much it will break and be unstable like kylo rens lightsaber but once the crystal is healed by someone uaing the force it turns white ps it didnt say it was a sith blade only that it was corrupted
