Rebellious groups have sprouted across the galaxies that threaten the peace of the universe. Dark artificial intelligence halts the pace of human expansion. The boundary between machines and humans blur with increasingly sophisticated cyborgs. So, what happens when a deep-space exploration spaceship carrying a group of human and humanoid scientists encounters a beacon from a far away earth-like planet? Encoded within the call of distress is a plead for help. Will the space crews be able to help those stranded people and once again restore faith in humanity?
