The world is under siege, not everyone is aware of it. After the great battle between Demons/ monsters and mankind in the early Goryeo era. Three humans, Han Su Hyun, Park Jang Gang and Kim Dong Kyu found a way to lock most of the Creatures in a labyrinth to keep them from entering into the human world again. Though most were captured, several creatures escaped and lived among mankind for centuries, learning their skills, languages, culture and things they love. In the quest to unlock his lost kind, ARIES, one of the oldest and the strongest Demon still living among mankind and other uncanny creatures take the form of humans and live among them.After a series of failed experiments, Han Su Jin a College students and two of his friends (who are the decendats of the three people who locked a larger part of the creatures in a labyrinth) studying in South Korea in the 21st century, who get a scholarship from a company called ARIES, a top notch pharmacitical company in Seoul, South Korea, are used as test subjects against their will for the test of a newly produced serum that turns people into EMOTIONLESS SAVAGE MONSTERS, giving them abilities 3 times higher than the regular human body. After the test fails once again, ARIES gives up on making an army of his own and instead he gathers the remanant of the creatures scattered around South Korea by turning his test subjects into monster hunters for ARIES. But as time passes, tables turn and the hunters become the huntedFueled with rage and revenge for the loss of ones they loved, as well as the loss of their humanity, they transcend into pseudo-heros not because they have the intention to save others but just can't sit back and watch others suffering and mourning the lost loved ones as they did, that is the only figment of humanity left in them, COMPASSION. Success is a relative word here since it's always accompanied with a very large scale of destruction, as each piece of the puzzle leads to the bigger picture and bigger threats. With their rage, vengeful hearts and a little bit of compassion for humanity, they face numerous conflicts to protect the world they know and the world they live in from burning and at the same time, find a HAPPY PLACE.P.S. I would employ more than one narrative tone in this book (mostly first person and third person narrative).
