He beat the owner, stole the slaves and the money and ran without so much as looking back. In this world, stealing a slave was punishable by death regardless of age or status. It had been a moment where he snapped and though he regretted it, he couldn't take it back. Now, on the run from various factions, Eragon will have to do everything he can to survive while protecting the people he had risked his life to save. Along the way, he'll meet allies, enemies, and others who need his help. But on this long journey, surviving is all that mattered.
