Hearing a strange noise he couldn't make head or tail of, Rio opened his eyes, but to his surprise, he was in a dark place. Continuing The Test" Rio again heard some unknown gibberish, however this time it felt like he was drowning and it was painful before the feeling went away and suddenly he felt full as if he had just had lunch, however, he again felt like he was drowning but it was a little less painful this time, followed by a full stomach feeling. This repeated a number of times before it finally stopped. However, before Rio could rest a little, "Command: Kill the Orc Without Running Away. Time Restraint: 150 Seconds " Followed by the unknown noise, which now Rio felt like a language, a huge boar came out of nowhere, and before it could do anything, Rio turned around and ran at full speed. He didn't hear the boar chasing him and he reached some sort of gate. It was a thick iron gate which was open slightly for some reason, but Rio didn't think much as he entered inside as the clearing was clearly too small to let the boar in, and the door didn't look like it could be opened easily. After entering, Rio suddenly got blinded by a bluish-white light before hearing the sound of the doors shutting. Rio still in full panic mode quickly adjusted his eyes to see a beautiful levitating star shaped like crystal, almost as big as a small-sized car shining majestically in the middle of the room, rotating and turning around with apparently no pattern. Completely mesmerized by the crystal and tired from all the incidents till now, Rio went up to the crystal and carefully touched it. As soon as his fingers touched the crystal, a clear and mechanical voice resounded in his head. "Sufficiently Intelligent Being Found, Would You Like To Become This Dungeon's Master?" Without actually thinking anything, Rio nodded, "Acknowledged, Greetings New Master-". Before the mechanical sound could complete the unknown voice spoke again. "Time Up. Result: Failure. Proceeding Cleanup. Removing Test Subject...... Error. Test Subject Bounded To The Temporary Dungeon. Breaking Connection...Error: Insufficient Authority. Solution: Removing The Dungeon Core........ Success-" That was when Rio once again lose his consciousness, looking at the majestic crystal slowly losing its shine. Something warm. I tried opening my eyes, and then saw a lady looking at me and smiling. Then I noticed that this lady was huge, no wait a second, I was tiny!! "There’s no point in continuing this, I guess this is how I die. 40 years of being a victim to fate, it finally comes down to this. These Gods, these arrogant Gods- who expose men to these harsh realities. I swear if there is a next life, I will make these Gods kneel before me- I will get my revenge." The man's rage overwhelmed his rationality to the point where he began making odd statements. Suddenly the previous sound of cars Honking was replaced with the sound of blood gushing through his veins. Tears rolled down the man's face, "I'm sorry."Suddenly time froze as the man leaped over into the open air. It was almost as if he had finally obtained the heavens attention. The look on his face was that of a free man, a man who faced the cruellest realities life had to offer. One word comes to mind- Beautiful. This beauty, this feeling of warmth- If only it could last for ever. Very soon the man faced the same fate as Icarus*Splat**He was dead.

I heard an amazing story of patience the other day. It has stuck with me since, and it’s altered the way I shape my interactions throughout each day.This is a story about a small, random act of kindness that affected two lives in a big way:A New York City taxi driver arriveS at the final stop for his shift. He honked. After waiting a few minutes, he honked again. Because it was his last stop, he considered pulling away. Instead, he put the car in park and walked up to the door.He knocked.He heard an elderly voice, “Just a minute.”He then heard the shuffling of bags moving across the floor. Then the door opened.It was a small woman in her 90’s with a soft smile wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it. As she answered, the taxi driver caught a glimpse inside the house. It looked as if no one had lived there for years. All the furniture was covered in sheets, no clocks on the wall, and no knickknacks on the counters.“Could you carry my bag?“ the lady asked.The cab driver walked her slowly down the steps of the front porch to the cab.Once in the cab, the lady handed the driver an address and asked, “Could you drive through downtown?”“It’s not the shortest way,” The driver answered.“I’m in no hurry. I don’t mind,” she said. “I’m on my way to hospice…”The driver and passenger shared a quick glimpse in the rearview mirror, enough for her to see his concern and continue:“I don’t have any family left. The doctor says I don’t have very long.”The driver quietly reached over and shut off the meter then asked, “What route would you like me to take?”For the next two hours, they drove through the city. She showed the driver where she once worked, the neighborhood where she and her husband first lived, a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom when she was a girl. There were a few parts of town she asked the driver to slow down and she would sit, staring into the darkness, saying nothing.After a couple hours, she suddenly said, “I’m tired. Let’s go now.”They drove in silence to the address she had given him. When they arrived, two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as they pulled up. They must have been expecting her.The driver opened the trunk to take out the suitcase. As he shut the trunk, she was already in a wheelchair.“How much do I owe you?” She asked, reaching into her purse.“Nothing,” said the driver.“You have to make a living,” she answered.“There are other passengers,” he responded.Almost without thinking, the driver bent and gave the lady a hug. She held on tightly.“You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,” she said. “Thank you.”The driver gave a final squeeze of the lady’s hand and the two turned to go their separate ways. As he got in the car and glanced over to her, the door was shut.He didn’t pick up any more passengers That night. In fact, he could hardly speak.What if that woman had gotten an angry or impatient driver? What if she got someone who refused to get out and go to her door? Refused to take the time driving around the city?The taxi driver couldn’t shake the feeling that this single moment may be one of the most important moments of his life.

The long ranged and experienced warrior or the strength empowered and feisty fighter? - He Who Stands Still: Becoming thirteen isn’t easy and explaining how terrible it is to a twelve year old isn’t a simple task either. She just doesn’t understand how this little boy cannot grasp the tragedy of aging. However, this girl is in for a surprise, as he may know more than she thinks, way more, actually.- He’s The Goal: Lorelei and Brum have been best friends since both of them could talk. Their relationship has been through thick and thin. At the beginning of the school year, Brum decided to branch out of his comfort zone and join the soccer team. Before he even realizes what is happening, his heart falls for the team captain, Reiner. Brum couldn’t be happier, however to Lorelei there’s just something not quite right about the charismatic captain. - I Didn’t Know Her: He was milling through his daily routine. So was she. The bus stop was the same, with it’s tarnished lettering and weathered bench. The sidewalk was the same, lined with crepe myrtle trees and littered with weeds cracking through the concrete. Even the honking horns of traffic jams and the nearby ring of a telephone was no different. However, he would die today, and so would she. The abnormality is not their deaths, but the interaction between two strangers who realized together their time was coming to an end.
