This novel revolves around Levi Smith. A medieval sixteen year old who, after a series of unfortunate events, gains an ability from an angel. The draw back is that this ability comes with a risk. This risk is that it can put Levi into a slumber that none know how long will last. When Levi does enter this sleep, he will sleep for 400 years before waking up in 2057. By then, Angel's and Demons are no longer a secret, and are actually the benefactors to humankind's evolution. He also finds out that Rachel, his Angel Master, had Fallen and converted her entire being into a 'System' in order to help Levi adjust to the new world, and prevent his loss of an Ability. ***I know there seems to be alot of these types of novels, but the simple fact is that this style of novel is extremely popular, so I humbly ask that you forgive this shameless Author, and support this novel!*** *[]*This book is a little slow on action, revolves around a character who has OP potential, but is not OP right off the bat. I don't update often due to work and Parental Responsibilities. Getting from event to event in this story takes days of planning and stitching ideas to make a smooth flow in the plot. Deities, also known as the Mythological gods, exist. They bestow magical powers to promising mortals, called Gifted, as a form of entertainment. These magical powers are separated into colors that show in the Gifteds' eyes. Becoming Gifted started out as an unnatural phenomenon, where only 20% of the world's population had Gifts. Now, nearly 80% of the population have gifts. Most Gifted will only recieve between 1 and 10 deity gifts bestowed upon them. 1 to 3 being the most common. Those with more, will be recruited into guilds, independent from government. But, the case was different for Lewis Bright. He was abandoned by his parents at birth, and was thrown into foster care. He was in and out of foster homes with nowhere to belong. Lewis was always the quiet kid, avoiding the spotlight, never drawing attention. Until, he became Gifted. Becoming Gifted wasn't unnatural, it was expected of anyone who turned 16, but Lewis, upon turning 16, was not bestowed any gifts, or so everyone thought.... -
