Lost Memories of Love
Keith is a high school student in the USA, United States of America. He moved here from Japan due to his parent's divorce. His Mom was American and she thought that it would be better for Keith to live in the States instead of Japan, where his father is at. On the way to school, he saw a girl beaming with sunlight. It was a useless thought but, maybe she could bring back the happiness in his life. As time passed by, Keith became more fond of Lia. He confessed but he was rejected. Lia said that she was too good for him. She said that he wouldn't like her if he knew her personality. And the most shocking thing Lia said was that Keith wasn't her type! Keith was stupefied by her answer. But, he didn't even flinch. He was unexpectedly calm. He explained and asked Lia for a chance. Keith proposed that he would try to make her fall in love with him in a month. If she didn't, he promised that he would give up. Keith thought that it was a ridiculous idea but, it was worth a try. Surprisingly she agreed to the proposal. Like Keith said, he made Lia fall in love with him in a month. Some days after Keith's mother's death, Keith's father went to Keith's grandfather's house, because that was where he was staying now, and asked for him to come back with him to Japan. Keith was enraged. "How could he even think of doing this after he abandoning me", he thought. He was so mad after hearing this and stormed out of the apartment. He crossed the road, but he didn't look at the traffic lights that were color green. The next thing he knew, a black car was in front of him. Keith was now in the hospital. When he woke up, he didn't recognize Lia and that left her heartbroken. The doctor said that Keith has forgotten everything that happened in the last 4 years. Lia was silently crying when she heard the news.While tears were running on her face, Keith's father interrupted and asked her to never show her face to Keith. He said that it was all for Keith's sake. It was because Lia could trigger his memory and he might remember all the bad things that happened again. " Alright Sir, but on one condition if you permit it. ",Lia replied." What is it? ",he asked. " I wish to speak to him and I also want him to remember me but, I'll obey you. But, I want you to give me one month to make him remember me when he turns 20. When he is of that age he is already independent am I right? Can I please do that? If I cannot do it, I'll leave your son for good. I promise. ".
