... I know how this looks. I don't snoop. I really don't. I don't check Kefe's phone or messages, and I don't believe he's cheating on me. I trust my gut that much. This was really an accident... Uju is young, successful, and happily married to the 'love of her life' until she discovers that things may not be as they appear.Author's Note :) ———————- This piece could not have been finished without my sister a.k.a. Editor, and my inspiration to be a better writer. All the research I did for this piece has made me a better writer and I learned alot from the inspirational rapper/actor/poet Tupac Amaru Shackur. I also learned a lot about myself that I thought I couldn't do. There were some parts of the story I had to come up with on my own, since I couldn't find some information on Tupac's life at 17. I did find roughly enough information, to piece things together, and feel as accurate as possible. For example, I couldn't find exactly who exactly Tupac was staying with in California, so I made up a fictional family Tupac and his family stayed with. All I found is that they were family friends. As well as some of the characters were made up, like Rosé, Willian, Daisy, J Dog, and Mrs. Johnson. Tupac's mother and sister, along with Lelia Steinberg were all actual and important people in Tupac's life. Also all of the places mentioned in the story are also real, and were important places to know during Tupac's life at 17. These are some things that were fictional, as well as some things that were in fact non-fictional in my story. ———————————————————————— Thank you, for giving my short story a read it really means a lot! :)

I rushed back in and pressed my ear up against the back wall. There it was. The sound I heard. The soothing music was right beyond this wall. My eyes darted around the room until they settled on a cello case that was on its side. It was still pinned up against the wall by the shelf and some other cases. It didn't occur to me until then that it was possible the door was behind something. I moved the case out of the way, and there it was. A small door with an old style keyhole in it. I got on my knees as I lifted the key from around my neck. With a shaking hand, I pushed it in and turned. There was a loud click, and I was in. I expected to find Mr. Morgan on the other side with a smug look on his face. Or maybe even a camera crew that was a part of some lame Youtube prank channel. It wasn't any of that though. Just a piano and the one playing it. A piano and a girl.
