Flee. Fail. Rewind. How many times has Angel gone through this same routine? How long is this time loop going to last? How many times does she have to fail before succeeding this escape? As events are going now, the only plausible answer is just...infinity... *** This will be a collection of short side stories which mainly serve to clarify some points in my main Time Walkers novel that I think might be confusing to some readers. I might put some teases for future events though!

Most people think choices are a matter of life or death. My choices come AFTER my death. On my first day of school, I die. Sad, right? Luckily I manifest my ExtrA (Extra Ability) right at that moment and respawn. I now have the ability to make choices after I die. Plus, I get a system with shops and everything else a system needs. It sounds cool, but the prerequisite is kinda bad... After that hectic first day, random dangerous things that somehow are connected keep happening. Conspiracies, alien invasions, minor catastrophes. And they all happen while I’m in school. Coincidence? I hope so! But it’s not. The system also turned the world into a TV show! I guess having a game-like system is too overpowered. But now I also have to deal with plot holes and cliches. At least I’m not the main character. And I know this because I can see labels above everyone’s heads. Oh, a spy in our school! How nice.
The first time it’d happened, he’d thought of it as a dream. A very vivid, violent and crazy dream worthy of an Oscar born from the too-many stories he devoured, but a dream nonetheless. Then it’d happened again, and again, and again. A constant, mind-shattering loop of constant terror and screams and ultimately- death. No powers. No teammates. Only a deathless cycle that he just couldn’t break. Then came the anomalies. The teenage girl with a space ability that definitely had died before. The boy that’d been thrown to the zombies was now a master of the martial arts. The little girl he’d saved from a previous loop was now so sticky. ...it was strange. Why now? Why the sudden changes? Well, not like most of it had anything to do with him. The weirdos all clamoured to one man (except the funny little girl). The man that’d become the most powerful in every. Single. Goddamned loop. ...now, if only that said man would fucking leave him alone. He wasn’t totally hopeless, you know!
