Andrea Imogen is a third-year college student who grew up in a household full of achievers. Decisions were mostly made by her parents, making it hard for her to even decide on what to eat. As she got the freedom from her parent's expectations, her mundane life was about turn upside down. With a little spontaneous decision and the help of a certain boy, Andrea set off to find a different version of herself. "I don't know. But it's just like a selfie. The longer you stare at it, the more unrecognizable the face becomes. I am something I can no longer identify." -Andrea Imogen
Twins who don't get along, are forced to spend their vacation with each other alone in their father's hometown called Ames Grove. There they meet the quirky part-time taxi driver, Kim. The lovely seductress, Mariah. The sketchy and yet not so sketchy pub owner Tak. And Finally, the mysterious Renesmee Adams who happened to be dead earlier in the summer just before the twins could arrive. Finding Renesmee's journal in their house was one thing, but learning the secret of Renesmee's mysterious passing was another. What makes the whole cake may as well be the part where the whole grove was hiding something. Could it be demons like what Ace would likely believe? Or would it be something that they should never touch, ever?
Pure millennial love mayhem. Our protagonist is a depressed and ready to end her life when she’s interrupted by a tall, dark, and handsome redneck mad scientist. He offers her a role in an experiment which she accepts and is tossed into the past to meet up with her younger self and learn more about herself and her past. I would like to warn everyone that the protagonist is about to go through with her plans of ending her life at the beginning and the whole story deals with suicide and depression so readers beware.
