"So what if I did? My daughter earns it and I need it for my son." The woman stared at her own daughter with disgust and anger. "You are my child. Obey."

Raven Eni shook her head. "You are my mother, that is true, but you wrote ultimate contract. With that contract you completely gave up on me and separated. I will love and care about my sibling, but I can't obey as I must obey my master."

The woman stilled. Apprentices indeed had to obey master and can cut contract only if they are mistreated.
