Damian slowly opened his eyes to see nothing. He started to think something went wrong and asked Savina 'Where am I, why can't I see anything?' 'Damian calm down.' Savina replied 'You're still inside your mother's womb.' Damian breathed a sigh of relief before he angrily asked her 'Why did you knock me out, and why didn't I get any warning before it happened?' Savina calmly replied 'Damian I had to knock you out for your own safety. When your passing through the void there's nothing there that could harm your soul unless you are attacked. However, when entering a world, you have to pass through the time stream and reincarnation cycle. This alone is enough to make a mortal go insane, not only that but if the reincarnation cycle detects that a soul has its consciousness then it will forcefully wipe all of its memories and send it to reincarnate. While the system could have protected your memories there is no telling how much damage your soul would have taken.' Hearing this Damian calmed down but he still wanted to know why he had no prior warning. Knowing what he wanted to know Savina told him in a pouting tone 'Check the system's notifications.' Damian then asked her 'How do I do that?' Damian heard a sigh in his mind as Savina replied 'Seriously, just ask the system for its' notifications.' Knowing that he had just asked a stupid question Damian sheepishly blushed before saying 'System please show me the notifications of what happened before I was knocked out.' A list was shown in front of him

Reading all of this, Damian was embarrassed and upset with himself that he was angry at Savina just because of his mistake. He told her 'Savina I'm sorry I got upset with you, would you please forgive me?' There was silence for a few seconds and just when Damian thought he had really messed up he heard girlish laughter inside his head. After Savina was done laughing, she told him in a voice tinged in playfullness 'I'm not angry at you master, but if this happens again I might have to punish you' the last part was said in a singsong voice. Hearing this Damian was relieved that she wasn't upset with him and asked her 'Can I have my starter pack now.' Without a reply he heard the system

'Of course I want to open it now' replied Damian in a voice of excitement.

When Damian saw what he got his went wide open in shock. He couldn't believe that he had actually gotten the Gate of Babylon. He began to imagine all of the possibilities of what he could do with it, however all of his thoughts were put to a stop when Savina said 'Damian don't get too excited, while I will admit that it's shocking that you got the Gate of Babylon it has restrictions on it. The system put a total of 500 seals on it because it was deemed to powerfull for you to use at full power.' Hearing this Damian was visibly upset, but the more he thought about the more he thought that it was only fair, it was afterall the Gate of Babylon that had countless weapons of legend. He was curious to how to remove the seals so he asked 'Savina, how do I remove the seals?' Hearing his question she looked into it as she herself didn't know. After taking a few moments to look she replied 'In order to remove the seals you can use system points or there's an item you can get that can remove restrictions.' Damian nodded his head when he heard this, then he asked 'What's the Artifact Upgrade for, can I use it to upgrade the Gate of Babylon!?' Hearing his excitement Savina giggled and said 'You can Damian, however before you do that I recommend taking a look through the system first as you haven't done that yet.' When Damian heard this he nodded his head and commanded the system to open

Damian was slightly shocked when he saw this, but then he realized this must be his system's unique options. He read the options and understood what each of them were, and when he read the note he said in his mind 'Looks like that I need to be careful of what I buy.' Looking through all the options he decided to work his way from the top down.

Looking at this he was satisfied with the powers he could get. He could be like Naruto, Professor X, or Wolverine. He was confused on a couple of things however so he decided to ask Savina. 'Hey Savina, how come regeneration and telepathic abilities are so cheap. Wolverine's regeneration is overpowered and if you look at Professor X, his telepathic abilities are very strong.' Savina 'Damian your thinking is wrong. First of all it says Basic Regeneration which is nowhere near as powerful as Wolverine's and for the telepathic abilities you're forgetting that your living in a world full of supernatural creatures. In X-Men few people have mental abilities that can block his powers, however in the DxD Universe even the weakest devil have mind control abilities, albeit they are weak.' Damian felt stupid. He completely forgot that he was in a completely different universe than the MCU. After clearing up his confusion he went to the next option Power Boosts.

Damian felt that this was easy enough to understand and had no questions about it. He then went onto Hero Bloodlines. He was stunned by what he saw.

He couldn't believe it. Shazam, a powerful superhero in his own right, was towards the bottom of the list. Damian immediately asked Savina 'Is there a problem with the system? I know that Shazam isn't the most powerful superhero, but he should still be far from the bottom of the list. I'm pretty sure he's more powerful than Wolverine and the Flash! Speaking of which how is Spider-Man more powerful than the Flash!?' He was so shocked he didn't even know what to think. Savina giggled to herself thinking 'He sure is funny, thinking that it's a problem with the system which is one of the most powerful things in the universe.' Then she told him 'There's no problem with the system Damian. You're misunderstanding how bloodlines work. You don't get the powers from the bloodline, you only get the capacity that the bloodline can hold and the compatibility with different powers. For example, you won't get the magical powers of Shazam, you have to buy those. What you will get is an affinity for certain types of magic, and the prices of the bloodlines are determined by many different things such as capacity, compatibility, and affinity with the host.'
Damian was satisfied with the explanation, but he had another question. 'What is affinity?' 'Affinity is how compatible a power is with someone. It is detemined mainly by their temperament and race. Things like a split personality also influences this. For example someone who gets angered easily or has a split personality would have a high affinity with the Hulk bloodline, and someone who is of the angel race would have a high affinity with the Amenadiel bloodline.' Damian now understood how bloodlines worked and then went into the artifacts.

Damian understood most of the things from the store. He realized that buying things Enkidu and Gae Bulg would upgrade the ones that he in his Gate of Babylon but there were two things he didn't know, the metallic skeleton binder and the metallic muscle binder. After thinking about it for a couple of minutes he could only think that the metallic skeleton binder is what was used on Wolverine to give him adamantium claws. As for the metallic muscle binder he had no clue so he decided to ask Savina about both of them to be safe. Her response was suprising, she told him 'The metallic skeleton binder is what was used on Wolverine, but this version allows you to use other types of metals other than adamantium, such as vibranium. The metallic muscle binder is basically the same thing as the skeleton binder except its for muscles. It is recommended however to use a more flexible metal so you can use your muscles properly.' He was excited when he heard this as he could become a stronger version of one his favorite superheroes Wolverine and he couldn't wait until he had enough SP to buy them.
He was about to look at the other things the system had to offer him when a sudden wave of exhaustion hit him. In confusion he asked Savina 'Hey, do you knkow why I feel so tired now?' Savina giggle and told him 'Silly, did you forget that your a baby now and need rest. go to sleep now okay.' Damian nodded his head while thinking 'I'm gald to have Savina as a companion.' Then he shut his eyes and went to sleep.

AnimeFanatic For those of you who are confused as to why I made Self Cloning more expensive than reality warping is because the cloning ability will have only one drawback. The MC clones can use all of his abilities, do quests, and do multiple things at once.
