I could feel fingers in my hair, on my face. Soothing me as I slept, not knowing who they belonged to. The cologne still lingered in the room when I woke up, except he wasn't there anymore. I sat up gently, frowning at the door that was closed last night but now opened with no guard in sight. Folded clothes lay at the end of the bed and a boot at the foot of the bed. The red dress I ripped off me last night was no longer on the floor.
