In 2030, the online game “Divine Realm” was released. The concept is ok, and the world background is cliche. MC unlocks the soldiers, but apart from the beginning dungeon doesn't use them. The character design is 2-D and the concept of unlocking talents is stupid. the only good thing about this novel is the above mediocre translation quality. The only thing I recommend is not reading this book.

It's actually relatively good, as trial reads go. Be warned however: large portions of this novel will be nonsensical or unsuited to other parts of the novel. Examples include the nonsense that is his only attack skill, the fact that literally nothing he does costs any resource, his obsession with equipment over skills, the general lack of sense with stats, and the entire setup surrounding those stupid "death soldiers". This is not the author's fault, but rather the fault of the transcriber, who has changed major portions of this story and added random stuff in to pad out the differences in order to avoid copyright infringement while copy pasting almost literally everything else without regard to whether it makes sense to leave it that way. In the original story the MC actually does have an SSS talent which removes resource costs, is a mage who can fuse skills together, and doesn't even posess a system at all much less a horde of soldiers to murder his enemies for him. A lot of scenes will make much more sense if you keep in mind that the original author didn't have him as an invincible tank with an army.

This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worth case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.

Alright so I made a review earlier and I went way too easy, this has to be a horrible novel, I gave it 3.6 but it's not worth that, the author is dumb, added a whole new thing to the world background, Mc has op plot armor, does no work and gets legendary shield class and op abilities in only the 8th chapter. I feel really bad for the people that read this. Trust me, it's not worth it and even the author dropped it. Don't read this go find something actually good
Another highly voted for novel that has been dropped. It seems the translators are only going to translate what they like translate, not the ones that we want.
The game is so broken that his skills at the start is so OP. Especially he has a cheat everything will be so broken already even if he's just a beginner.
please make more ive read to the most recent chapter out which is 30 and absolutely fell in love! the MC is OP but not In his level range he is litterally undefeatable. He can fight other abouve his level too Ex: he is level 50 as of chapter 30 and can fight a level 180 who has a buff activated for times 3 attributes. However above level 700 powerhouses exsist so he isnt OP The city mayors level is 400 and level 100 is needed for college exam so many people are high level so MC is not end all OP but he definitely has the potential to reach it. Now I shall use this GIF to attract attention so people will read the review.
