Hearing this, Jiang Yue stopped walking and his eyes turned thoughtful.

A moment later, he looked at Yu Nianzhen with a confused expression.

"Azhen, I remember how master was during the Ice Palace martial contest and the years since then. He has always loved the mistress but…"

"He doesn't seem heartbroken." Yu Nianzhen finished.

"Mmmh." Jiang Yue nodded and quickly continued. 

"He is confused and angry but not heartbroken. What in the world is going on?"

"I don't know." Yu Nianzhen said and frowned.

"For now, let's talk to fellow Daoist Liu Sen and find out what he knows.

"Good." Jiang Yue agreed.

Soon after, the two entered Liu Sen's room in the information hall.

"Mountain master, deputy mountain master." Liu Sen greeted.

"Fellow Daoist Liu." Jiang Yue greeted and Yu Nianzhen nodded.

"Mountain master, deputy mountain master, please sit down and have tea."

With that, the three sat around a stone table.
